I would be considered one of those fanatics because I am a Independent, Fundamental, KJV only, Baptist BUT a lot of you guys really tick me off with your un- Christian "talk"
We do NOT need to be bashing everybody on the head who doesn't agree with us... literally or figulartively!!!

ps did I spell "figulartively" correct... I'm not quite sure all of asudden how to spell it.

Grand_Wazoo, you are just the "Christian" (and I use that woted lightly in your case) I am talking about. I am not "pissed off", as you so un- aptly put it, with them at all. You, on the other hand... well, I don't waste emotions - except, maybe disgust- on imbeciles like you.

We can and should do better. But keep in mind that a lot of what seems like "bad Christians" is really people who say they are Christians just to make us look bad. All they do is create a new identity and spew a bunch of hate. Whynotaskdon is a perfect example. The original guy was pretty cool headed and almost always had great answers. Then these phonies came along and trashed his ID. Why would they do that? They don't have truth on their side so they have to resort to dishonesty to try to win.

I agree with you. Bashing someone over the head is not showing much love and trying to shove it down their throat only makes them want to vomit!! If we would all concentrate on working on our own issues this world would be a better place. A little more of "He among you who is without sin cast the first stone" and we would not have so many Christians telling others what is wrong in their life . God Bless!!

Agreed. But I can see where it's hard to keep your cool when it seems like the whole world is making fun of you for holding certain beliefs. After all, I rarely see "You atheists are idiots" posts, but there's plenty of God bashing to go around.

Many of us are OFFENSIVE as you say, because we are
PISSED OFF, like YOU, about some of the garbage that is placed in this category, by verbal bullies, who probably
engage in unhealthy sexual desires, while they intentionally
attempt to offend others. Because they are too big of LOSERS
in life to have any friends. But if they stopped acting like the
JERKS they act like. They might find some friends.

We are commissioned to preach the gospel. We are not commissioned to argue and dispute the gospel. We do our part and allow the Holy Spirit to do His part. We must remember that we are not the Holy Spirit therefore, it is not up to us to cause others to accept the gospel. He draws them as we preach or rather live what we preach.

Amen, sister. I'm Catholic, but you're 100% right. Christ commanded us to love one another, even when others do or say things that are hurtful to us. If we do not love, how can we expect to show others Christ?

I offer an apology to all those who have ever been offended or upset by a Christian not behaving as Christ taught. Please forgive us.

God bless.

You are so correct - we have a great model to live up to, and alot at stake with our words.
Just read Proverbs about how important our words are.
