Evolution is a Religion.
Three laws of thermodynamics is all you need to disprove that religion completely.
Note: I gave you the name of the scientific law, but I want you to research it on your own. That is why I left the list off the posting.

Evolution is the process by which life "evolved" on this planet. Evolved, in this sense, means that organisms became more complex through gradual, and occasionally rapid, change over a long period of time.
There is a mountain of evidence for evolution. The evidence is in the form of dead animals or portions thereof that can be found in the crust of the planet. These dead animals can be studied using many techniques derived from the application of the scientific method.
It is a major misstatement to describe these techniques or the knowledged gained by their application as "wishy washy dreams" or a "grown up fairy tales".
Usually religious fundamentalists are the ones who use such labels to describe evolution. But if one examines the beliefs of religious fundamentalists, it becomes abundantly clear that it is their beliefs that are truly "wishy washy dreams" and "grown up fairy tales".
Christian religious fundamentalists believe Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary who, conincidentally had a steady boyfriend at the time of Jesus's conception. This is, of course, a naive fairy tale.
Christian fundamentalists try to persuade us that God loves us and maintain that the Bible is the true history of mankind. So we have this God who supposedly loves us drowning off the entire planet in Genesis except for one family. Imagine all the little babies who drowned while clutching their mothers and taking their last dying breaths. The God who loved us caused that flood. Talk about wishy washy....drowns us one day and then loves us the next.
I digress. Evolution has the scientific method backing it up. It can legally be taught in public school science classes throughout the United States. Creationism and Intelligent Design cannot be legally taught in public school science classes. They are considered religion, and not allowed in the science curriculum.
If you really believe evolution is a wishy washy dream and a grown up fairy tale, go to the public library and read science books with an open mind. Compare what is stated and the proof provided there to what religious fundamentalists maintain.
Google is also a good place to examine creationist claims such as "Scientific evolution cannot even explain how a paramecium got its flagella". Actually science has a very good explanation for that. Science has been able to refute every creationist claim that I know of.
Religious fundamentalists are also dishonest. They KNOW that their claim about the unexplainability of the origin of paramecium flagella has been totally refuted. Yet they keep making the claim as if it hasn't. Is religion for the ignorant? Do creationists want to keep their members ignorant? Isn't that a lie to keep claiming something that isn't true?
Well that's my answer. I hope you try to develop an open mind, and not let religious fundamentalists do your thinking for you.

Evolution is science. Science is based upon observable evidence, testing, the ability to gather facts and data through that testing, and the scientific method. I've read a lot on evolution and it is definately science. It can be quite fun to actually go back and read through the observations made by early scientists who observed and tested and collected data on their hypothesis. They were wrong on some hypothesis and the data showed them right on others. Science has definately done a lot of work on evolution...much like it has on gravity and other theories.
Science and religion are almost identical in that they both seek to help us explore and understand....the difference is that science helps us explore and understand the natural/physical dimensions of the universe and religion helps us to explore and understand the subtle/spiritual dimensions of the universe. Religion, with its methods, does not and cannot explain the natural/physical dimensions and science, with its methods, does not and cannot explain the subtle/spiritual dimensions. The two are both necessary for humanity to find wholeness in their understanding.

Try this on for Size... Evolution: If we are evolved from monkeys, wouldn't there be a cross section of half evolved primates we could reference and either confirm or deny this theory?
Nothing happens just overnight. Afterall, we can even look at Anacondas and see where thier reptilian legs should be... an undisputable sign that at one point they had legs and evolved beyond them.
So where are the half Monkeys?
Dont even get me started on Dinosaurs.

Evolutionists wish it was a religion, that way they could seek civil damages every time a new Creation evidence pops up.
Not all grown-ups share in that fairy tale. Most of us have figured out that there's something more than "primordial ooze" in our history.

It's just a mechanical process. Mainly an algorithm.
Here are people using the algorithm to create things and for data modeling:
NASA built an antenna with it:
http://www.nasa.gov/centers/ames/news/releases/2004/antenna/antenna.html
Data modeling software:

And you're saying evolution is a fairy tale?
Then how are these programs working?

Evolution is a FACT.
We see it even in our lifetimes - bacteria becoming resistant to formerly effective anti-septics, being able to engineer evolution in plants to ensure maximum yield. Evolution provides a foundation for the many animal sciences.
The debate arises in regards to macro, or species to species, evolution. The evidence of micro-evolution we see every day informs us that it could be possible, but definitive evidence for macro-evolution itself has not been found. That is for future generations.
Do not fall prey to the misconception that evolution is "just a theory". We know it happens. The theory surrounds exactly how and why and the macro-evolution issue. To be a scientific theory, there must be scientific evidence to support it. This does not prove it as fact, but it is not just a guess.

its taught to shape your way of thinking. Every other decision in life is then shaped by this belief.
Ask some people this and they will defend evolution with all there might! I asked, why people believe its considered fact and people freaked out. Got more answers to this than any other question i have yet asked.

I don't understand all of Einsteins theories so don't be ashamed to admit your mental deficiency . Dawin's scientific
contributions encompasses long hard thought to say the least many can't or haven't the ability to comprehend it .. it is accepted science but don't fret it really doesn't matter .....

A scientific theory like other millions but some people made it like their new religion...this theory was responsible for the presence of the evolutionists / creationists conflict..even in science there are fundies.

evolution can actually be proven.. and creation cannot. if u are a open minded and scientific in nature its not a fairy tale at all. what sounds like a real stretch is creation.. common you honesty dont think we all came from 2 ppl?! how do we get different races?! think and always question.. and believe facts not 2000 year old stories..
