During Lent we Catholics fast much and I have always found this makes me feel closer spiritually to God. I amjust wondering if Ramadan makes you feel closer too. I have been reading and learning about it.

well , i met this really hot and sweet guy who i just fell for the first time that i saw him, we went out like once and we talked for like 4 hours !! , the second date we went on was at his appartment and we kinda ended up in bed togther !! , i know it was too soon, but he was soooooooo sweet ! , anyways , now it's like a week later and he did'nt even call !!!!!!
was i a one night stand !! ??
if i was then what should i do , should i call him ? should i wait for him to call me , or should i just forget about him !!!?

This question is directed to all the learned people on this forum over here. I had come across the term "ling" and when I seeked for its meaning, I came to understand that it means "sex", "gender". But simultaneously I was surprised to see this word linked with one of the mighty Hindu God, i.e., Shivling. Does the term "ling" in this give another meaning? If not...what is the correct meaning. Please enlighten me. Thank you.

creative at work, but I'm not that creative by nature. I felt stupid compared to my colleagues, like I wasn't contributing enough. So I prayed and prayed about it. He gave me experts to contact and resources to use. And now it just dawned on me - I'm a lot more creative than before! I'm proud of that! I know this may sound kinda dumb and minor but it's a big deal to me.

There were all sorts of Pagan characters like Pan, a centaur and a minutaur and the "Lion" is symbolic in common in many belief systems...and I won't even go into the "Witch" character. Is this movie telling a Christian story?

I really wish Kids/teens could learn to not make the same mistakes that a lot of Adults have made with Drugs, Smoking, Money, Underage Sex and Pregnancy etc. Not sure what the answer is though as by their nature they want to try things for themselves . Shame that they look up to what turn out to be negative role models i.e. Pete Doherty, Kate Moss (there is a picture in one of the papers today with some white substance up her nose? alledgidly).

I'm a catholic, but I may not be for very long, if I can't get a logical answer for this question!

If condoning marriage in the priesthood earns you excommunication, why doesn't homosexuality involving young boys? Have I missed something? Has their been a priest excommunicated that I've not heard of for molesting young boys. I know they have been been removed from their prospective parish and moved into some other type of job, but i don't remember excommunication. Why not, to me molesting a young inocent boy is worse that getting married as a priest.

dont you think that muslim ladies too should be free to live their lives like you christian and jews ladies? dont you think you have a right to liberate all muslim ladies who are oppressed by islam and muslim men? dont you think its time you speak out for your muslim sisters who are been made slaves by islam?
