I really wish Kids/teens could learn to not make the same mistakes that a lot of Adults have made with Drugs, Smoking, Money, Underage Sex and Pregnancy etc. Not sure what the answer is though as by their nature they want to try things for themselves . Shame that they look up to what turn out to be negative role models i.e. Pete Doherty, Kate Moss (there is a picture in one of the papers today with some white substance up her nose? alledgidly).

Yes it is a shame, adults should know better at their age, kids don't seem to think its a problem to try underage sex, drugs, smoking and money grows on trees according to kids, the problem is that if you try to tell a kid that by doing these crazy things they are on a hiding to nothing they think your old fashioned and boring and normally go yeah, yeah, to whatever you tell them, been there seen it and done it myself and I never listened to my mom and there are times now that I so wish I had, but experience doesn't always come with age, that comes from trying the things you know you shouldn't just because you can.

Nobody ever learns. It pisses me off actually. We see people making the same mnistakes over and over again cos they don't think about what they are doing. We are on the verge of a massive HIV crisis because people still believe it won't happen to them, even though its happened to other people so many times. Hit a sore point there mate!!!!!

You don't really need role models,You make your own decisions and if your brought up right you already have role models in your parents,Besides most of the so called celebs are so far up their own a**e they don't care anyway.

Most kids find it "cool" if they join a group who drinks and smokes.But thanks God there´s still enough kids who have self confidence and don´t follow what is in in t.v.and yet they are not out. What I´m going to say is, depends upon how the parents brought up their kids.

Yes it is. I think some are even making worse mistakes now because there is so much more garbage around than when we were kids.

Teenagers will always copy what their rolemodels do, but not all bad some rolemodels are good, just depends on the choice of the teenager.

they do what they see ....if they see their parents do a thing they will copy that same as the TV or any visual influence

yes...and you know another reason...we all are, almost all, nonbelievers or we believe but don't live as we have to...there is something important missing in our lives...
