4:34, Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.

Rasulullah S.A.W. said, "Jannat lies under the feet of your mother

Rasulullah S.A.W. said, "If you read the kalima with conviction just once, Jannah becomes upon you."


Rasulullah S.A.W. said, "A women who reveals her body or even wears tight fitting clothes wont come within 500 years of the smell of Jannah."


Rasulullah S.A.W. said, "The dust which settles on a man while he is out in the path of Allah; not only the fire, but the smoke of Jahannam is haraam for those parts of the body."

1. Those people who do not look after their parents when they are in old age.



2. Those people who do not take full advantage of the blessed month of Ramadan.




3. Those people who don not say, 'Salallahu -Alayhay- -Wa-Aalahay Wasallam' when my name is mentioned."

some people ask an honest question just out of curiousity and some of us answer with hate filled answers. doesn't that make us look like straight bashers. i grew up in a rural area with no black people around, so i asked alot of questions when i met my first black person in person. it wasn't racist i just wanted to know and most all of them were glad to answer

When waiting at pedestrian crossings I have noticed that almost EVERY person who comes along presses the button even though it is already lit up to say that it's been pressed already. Why??? I am not just standing there for the good of my health and I'm not that thick that I haven't thought to press it myself! If it's been pressed before I get there I don't press it again, what would be the point? It doesn't make the cars stop any quicker, either.

evolve downward in some ways. Monkeys or apes are stronger then us, they can use their feet like hands, they have a tail to hang from trees, they can do things that we can do but we must be trained to do those things, and no human can climb, hang or swing like a monkey can and they do that automatically. So..why did we evolve downward?

I'm a native speaker of English, from Canada, but I've been living in Switzerland for five years and fear I'm losing my sense of idioms.

Question: Is the expression "at our call" correct? As in "We will discuss the matter at our next call", referring to a conference call. It would be modelled on "at our meeting"; in fact the call itself would be basically a meeting--does that make "at" correct? Do any native English-speaking business people in English-speaking places say that? Where?
