With the anti gay accusations he threw at Jeff Garcia when they were both with the 49ers, could be a possibility to cover his own sexuality up

hes not gay, he is just an arogant asshole, and i dont believe he tried to kill himself. he had an alergic reaction to the pain killers he was given for his broken finger.
