Mr Waiting takes too long, as a very wise man once said to me... "its the 10 minutes at the end of my life that i dont want!"

You know what - you are RIGHT. A few years ago smoking was allowed everywhere, offices, restaurants, pubs and even movie theaters!
The anti-smoking campaigns have taken their toll, smokers are being discriminated against! what ever happened to the right to choose?!
Stop bugging the hell out of the smokers out there, it is their choice.
I am calling upon all the smokers out there to start hitting back, you have lost your rights! act and do something about it.
Maybe it is time smokers lobby their way to having their own pubs.cinemas and even airlines! should be legal if all sign a disclaimer and are smokers!!

I don't think there is one person out there that would actually promote smoking or profess all the positive it has done for them. Nor do I think there is one person out there that smokes is actually glad that they do. I'm a smoker and there isn't one day I don't wish that I never lit up the 1st time. I'm not going to make excuses or try and lay blame for my addiction on anyone else. I understand the rights of non-smokers being protected in environments such as the workplace, hospitals & other public places. I accept this with my head down and look for a "safer" place to light up. Now in my own domain (home, car, etc).....here is my answer "There is plenty of fresh air outside!" I respect your space...you respect mine!

If you want to smoke, go ahead, but you raise the point of other people pushing something (religion, sexuality) onto yourself, so as long as you follow your own system and don't force others to breathe in your smoke then there's no problem.

I know what you mean. I hate for some one to lecture me about smoking. The best thing I have found is to just smile and walk away as soon as they start. It gets the point across quickly and politely.

Smoking kills people, but you are right, it is your choice. I'm not asking you to stop, I just want you to know that evry cigarette you smoke takes away ten minutes of your life.

Number of plane crashes caused by smoking: 0
Number of train crashes caused by smoking: 0
Number of homocides caused by people not being allowed to smoke in peace: 5,000+ (I guess)
If you want to ban smoking, then ban cigarettes. IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO SMOKE 'EM, STOP SELLING THEM TO ME!

As a Christian smoking is not good because it harms the body, and the body is God's temple in the Bible.

If you want to smoke, that is your business. However, if you are forcing other people to passive smoke, then it is their business.
