Normally I do not observe this but this year have been completely meat/fish/egg free for the Navratri period.
If you are doing the same, have you found it hard or easy to do.
I am finding it reasonably easy.

it is all about the belives

we eat wat we get easilly

in past time there were sufficient food grains in india

thus people were able to remain vege for some times

In Navratrees it is not just to leave eating NOn vege/onion / garlic etc.
But it is just respect to your ancestors who create them

these rules of worship (probably) not created within few minutes but it has taken thousands of years and thousands of brains

it is RESPECT to your Culture and Belives

those who love there forefathers only can do this

I haven't found it hard. But the real reason 4 it is that I am a vegetarian! :)

The best thing would be to turn vegetarian altogether.
