Gomergirl: Basically, the Church spends a lot of energy keeping men and women segregated. I already know this as I spent a large portion of my life there. I remember trying to ask the pastor questions in his office and I had to be "escorted" by two male parishioners---just in case I or the pastor "tried anything immoral". I felt that very insulting.
