I believe in the basic values of the Bible, but believe it has been altered so much over the years. I still believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirt but not the Bible. If I follow the Ten Commandments and am a good person but not believe in the Bible, would that still make me a believer and a Christian?

You see-Religious types will state that there had to be something to create The Universe and because they could not find the answer developed an entity called God to describe creation & found it easy to point convincingly @ this thing they called God-because NOW they had an answer for Creation & Being. It was further supported by a doctrine of "I AM"-have always been and will always be, for I AM the beginning and the end. This justified their convictions and explained many variables-and man, being a great story teller, devised rhetoric that enabled these possibilities-Quran-Bible-Dead-Sea Scrolls-New Testament-which lead to mans aligning himself with those that believed as he did and to prejudice those that did not. It even exists today as RELIGION causes ASSociation through similar beliefs. However-as a man-I must ask-WHAT CAUSED CREATION? If God created all of this then WHY? Something was lacking in its own facility or faculty in order to NEED? NEEDed POWER? Proof? Recognition?LUV

I feel so bad. I was at a local mall-and there were a bunch of kids (15-16 or so) in line. In front there was another girl anout the same age. Very preety with long dark hair. Well the teens behind put gum in the other girls hair without her knowing and they thought it was the funniest thing ever. I was shocked that people are really like that. Why would you do that to her lovely hair? Does anyone else think that this was a disgusting act or am I over reacting? I felt so bad for that girl.

What is the differences between Baptist, Methodist, and Church of God? As to what they teach, they believe, their church runs? I do, I don't smoke it or anything. I just believe that you have the right to out anything in your body and it's your choice to take drugs or not. Our whole socitey revolves around taking drugs. There should be no restrictions on what you can or cannot do to your body. It's just like a woman getting a abortion, she has the right to choose if she wants to be a mother or not.

I have some stubborn baby fat. My hubby is fasting during Ramadan.. I decided to join in. I know this will slow my metabolism significantly, but I was wondering if anyone out there had ever fasted and lost weight, and how did they do it? Did they cut out breads? Im a man myself i cant beleive what im hearing from women, i just ran into a divorced woman who has 4 kids and getting no child support at all!! I can understand if your out of work and on hard times but my Gosh no money at all it is appalling. This is another example why america is slipping into judgment by God.Where is your dignity man???? my wife and i have been apart for a year now.so to be divorced.i can't think of a life without her.i told her how i feel but she says its over.what can i do.people say i'm a great guy and nice looking and that i'll meet someone else but i love her and don't want my kids to think it's allright to divorce someone and work it out.i'm suicidal but i love the kids but the pain is still there maybe even more.don't tell me to ask god or leave.my kids need me and i want to try to raise them to have morals unlike there mom.help!!
