I mean if 'god' really needs money and will give back to you 100 fold or 100 times what you gave, wouldn't at some point money become worthless and not in need for begging?

put another way, why do the people who ask you for money not do it for themselves and get money the same way the tell you to do?

Good question. I would NEVER give to a church.

However, I do believe in KARMA, and because of this I try to donate 10% of every paycheck to a worthwhile charity (usually the Humane Society). I find that I'm never hurting for money either.

you have the wrong atitude to giving but as you see with every disaster the more that is given the more is stolen and the more they need money is not the answer
