Here's the difference. Sunrise is when you know your busy day will start and there is no rest. Something always has to be done. Now Sunset for the most you can sit back and relax and ponder your accomplishment and just put everything out of your head that is negative. Plus a sunset is so beautiful and it makes for a calming experience. And most sunrises we miss because we all want to sleep until the last possible minute.

Both are precious in a different way. Sunrise is a feeling of "new" and "fresh start" to me and sunset is a close of a wonderful day I was lucky to have spent on earth"....to me they are almost spiritual moments of which I am so greatful:o)

Sunset is usually prettier, but I like sunrise better. It feels fresh and new. Sunsets are kind of sad.

yes at sunrise its coming above the horizon and at sunset its going below the horizon...... i enjoy them both as the sky is always different colors at both times no two are alike

Depends on my mood. Sunsets are usually more dramatic and intense, so when I'm in one of my "I vant to be alone" moods, I like sunsets better.
Sunrises are quiet and sweet and calm, so if I'm feeling gentle and sentimental, I prefer watching the sun come up.
OK, so I'm a little weird. :-)
