to continue to burn coal and fossil fuels for energy or to use hemp for energy, which one would you choose?
would your church allow you to advocate such a thing? if so, would you?

Hmmm...I think hemp may still put out emissions, and it still takes land to grow it, but you don't have to drill for it and there is not a limited supply, so I would have to go for the hemp, if it was ecologically better.

And I don't go to church so I don't have to worry about rules :)

I'd use hemp, its growable and it won't run out eventually like fossil fuels will. And as for my church, i could care less what mine or any organized religion has to say on the matter.

P.S.- I'm Roman Catholic

I'm not sure what you are asking. I will go for the cheapest and most economical fuel. (I mean more bang for the buck essentially. If it is practically free but burns like there is no tomorrow, I'd have to go with the other stuff)
And I don't understand the term "fossil fuels"

Hemp can't make enough energy, man.

Biodiesel from algae is the way to go. Read up on it.

I would choose the hemp. And I don't have a church.
