I know that there are some good answerers out there, however as I see some of the answers on this site, it makes me wonder if anyone actually benefitted from this website.

I've gotten a few good answers...and I really hate those who simply jump all over a person...too many mean people in this world...

I've learned quite a bit from this site, although with the caveat that I usually verify the information for myself whenever possible. There are many professional people and folks with plain old-fashioned common sense here, and it's always fun to learn from them.
I also try to give good, informative answers based on both my knowledge of a particular subject and solid research. I have a minor in Library Science, and I love to do Internet research. I try to back up my answers with supporting evidence, so that the answer is as good as I can make it.

I get some answers on here sometimes, but some are pretty ridiculous too, although, I am sure I give some not so good ones too. Sometimes, I will mess with people too, but I really mean nothing by it. It is all to pass time.

I think the answers largely depend on the questions - stupid questions = stupid answers. People who asks legitimate questions usually get good responses. I found good information on where to eat and where to visit on a question I posed about traveling to another US city.

i think 80% of people got the right answer or the answer that they want. 20% are just messing around, you know making jokes over serious questions. god i hate them.! but thanks to all good answerers!!

sometimes i get really great answers
and other times i think i was better off asking someone in person, people can get really rude and dumb here.
