would current African American families be in crisis?

I have never heard that before or my family and friends who where with us. Could it be maybe just in that friends family or is it really a tradition.

started to pay me (gas money). I said "no thank-you", I will get it back in 10-fold. She said, there ya'll go with that church talk, keep on, you are going to get enough of that. What did she mean by her statement? I didn't look at it that way, I looked at it as doing something for someone and being blessed to do so and knowing that I will be blessed back for doing this favor for her.

I began learning how to speak Spanish a couple of years ago, and I've become quite good at it. I can hold long conversations and I can understand almost anything. But I've met some hostility and people who resent that I have learned so much, and dislike me because of my color.
My class was arranging a trip to Spain, and I was told I shouldn't go because the society is very racist, classist, and sexist, and as an African-American, I'd be rejected.
I recently read an article about a soccer event in Colombia where black players were humiliated.
I feel like I should stop learning Spanish because I feel betrayed, but I really like the language. What should I do?

There is not 1 known case where god healed an amputee. NOT 1 CASE.

So what does he have against them? He says he will answer prayers yet my neighbor who is 35 years old lost his leg when he was 10 in a fire and it was amputated. He prays every day of his life for his leg to regenerate yet god still hasnt.

There are millions of amputess around the world that have not regenerated their limbs. Please epxlain the irony in this

I'm gay and no one know it, my sister told me if I'm gay she will hurt me! I am 13 year olds, I know it because I get turned on by boys and never ever had been turned on by girls! most shops now operate a strict policy stating that you must not have your hood up whilst you are in the shop should muslims be made to remove their yashmaks as this covers more of their face than a hood does on a normal person

also what are your views on hoodies are we evil or are we just the same as everybody else?

I have noticed of late many ladies wearing their wedding and engagement rings either on the right or left hand. I had always thought the left hand was customary. Can anyone explain the diference please ?

Seriously it is so obvious that the FSM created all! The prophecy pertaining to the increase of global warming to the decreasing number of pirates is being fulfilled!!! How can you deny such undisputable evidence of the truth from the Gospel of the FSM?

A little while back I sat down with my friend to help her look for scholarships for her son to apply for. She wanted to help him but didn't know where to start so I offered to help her.

She had a book full of scholarships available, just like I did when I was preparing for college. I told her the first place to start was to mark out the ones he wasn't eligble for.

Nearly half of them were marked out simply because he wasn't black.

Does anybody else see this as unfair? Do blacks deserve more help simply because they are black? Do black people really deserve more help because of the color of their skin? Don't bring up the slave thing. It's pathetic. You, nor your parents, and I bet your grandparents were not slaves...


And another 10 or so because he wasn't from the county the school is in.

Okay ever since I've entered junior high none of the black kids have ever liked me. I don't know why though. I guess it was the way i dressed back then. I still have the same problems. A lot of the black girls don't like me. I don't know why. I did not do crap to them. according to them, i'm too preppy or too white-washed. I get plenty of dirty looks. The black dudes are nicer i guess, even though plenty of them have made fun of me & stuff. I'm black, or shall I say Nigerian American. Why aren't i excepted into the black community?
