Having seen a documentary on the subject. I was inclined to feel sick! I thought it at best child protitution and at worst paedophiliac. Having such young children performing unsuitable stage sets in revealing costumes and heavy make up is sickeningly bizarre. And parents. Is the pay off or the need for fame at your childs expense worth the protitution of your child?

Sometimes when I look at new Spanish words, I'll think I remember but then, a few days later, I'll have no clue.

I need tips for remembering the "Spanish into English" words and the "English into Spanish words".

Thanks in advance.

The scientists have cracked Invisibility (actually right now they are right now in Infancy they will make a perfect invisible cloak in the near future) Invisibility was a part of fiction just a few years ago.
What else can be discovered in the future by them.
Below is a link for people who have not read about the new Discovery:-

"Evolution is not testable because it constantly fails tests that it is subjected to"

First, doesn't it blatently contradict itself.
Second, doesn't the person making such a statement have the responsibility to back it us with evidence?

I read this recently:
"Don't pray in my school
And I won't think in your church"

Just a few suggestions -
Use the spell checker!
Also - if you can only answer with a bible cut & paste, don't answer!

It never fails. Every time I make the point that the concept of Hell is monstrously unjust: No one deserfes infinite punishment since no one is infinitely evil-- God would be the worst fiend imagineable to send anyone to Hell-- Christian apologists give me the trite saying, 'God doesn't send anyone to Hell-- You send yourself when you reject him."

Give me a break! You can't get God off the hook that easily! The buck stops there!

Please address this idea, for once: If I "send myself to Hell", then how about I refuse to go? That okay with you? I don't want to go to Heaven (to spend eternity bowing before the Throne, singing "Alleluia") but Ihow about I don't go to Hell, either? How about you and your gord let me stay right where I am? Or at least terminate my existence utterly. Whar purpose does it serve to torment me forever? Is that God's idea of fun?

A weak agnostic says at any time I might find evidence of God if God exists.
A strong agnostic says I will not have the proof of God until I die.

Is the position of the strong agnostic a religious belief, since it ascribes a property to God?

----

For more info on the words weak agnostic and strong agnostic please see wikipedia. I don't mean that the person is "weak" its an academic term.

Disclaimer: I am a "weak agnostic".

I'm new to Yahoo Answers but I thought I would find some intelligent debate about important matters. The answers I just read in response to Yoko Japan show how young these respondents are or how incredibly nonspiritual they are. I'm very dissappointed now because I was excited a few minutes ago about this site.

someone asked a question about who was living in sin and quoted, "...whoever divorces his wife, except for unchastity, and marries another, commits adultery."

this made me wonder because i have a friend who is catholic and was married to a man who became addicted to heroin and beat her and threatened their son. she is now divorced and remarried to a wonderful and kind man, but she told me terrifying stories of her hiding in the bathroom with her baby while he raged outside trying to get in with a knife. neither she nor the exhusband ever cheated. i know there also must be many other stories of spouses who left for reasons more violent than adultery.

please answer! is God really so unbending that he would have wanted her to stay with her exhusband and she would be punished as a sinner for leaving him?

So why not admit that you are human, and your conclusions about god(s) could be wrong?

What I dont understand is why everyone seems to be judging the muslims. I have yet to meet someone who see's a muslim point of view. What you need to remember is when the british took over India and raped and murdered loads of innocent women, children and men no one blinked an eye lid cuz you all thought it was right. i know im talking years ago but it still happened. I still remember the stories my great grandma told me about how they were treated in their own country. But i didnt go round judging the british and i dont see why you lot can and do.

Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

how many christians have cd players, cars, computers, clothes they never wear? Don't christians have as much consumer crap as everyone else? What would jesus say about these 'christians' leading comfortable lives when there are people who have nothing?

shouldnt christians sell their possessions and give to the poor? Why do they ignore their leaders teachings in this area?

based on Islamic believe. the mountains, earth and mountains almost destroyed when they said God has a son.

Quran ch19
[88] And they say: "The Most Gracious (Allâh) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels and others.))"

[89] Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.

[90] Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,

[91] That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Gracious (Allâh).

[92] But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Gracious (Allâh) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).

[93] There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Gracious (Allâh) as a slave.

is that how much Islam is taking this issue seriously?

Michael Behe, considered to be THE scientific expert on intelligent design (and promoter of it), admitted under oath in the Dover PA case that ID is not scientific because it is not testable, but that evolutionary theory is scientific because it is testable.

So what is wrong with the idea of teaching science in science class?
