"Evolution is not testable because it constantly fails tests that it is subjected to"

First, doesn't it blatently contradict itself.
Second, doesn't the person making such a statement have the responsibility to back it us with evidence?

I have created a few unscientific tests to 'prove' the existence of devlsadvoct, even though my agenda is in fact to disprove your existence. Oddly enough, you have failed all of these unscientific tests. So even though I have proven that you are in fact testable, I am decreeing the existence of devlsadvoct to be 'untestable'. Hence I am choosing not to believe in your existence - despite the fact that you most certainly do exist...

Why is it the two sides can't see the obvious truth. It is so simple it defies doubt. Has anyone other than me, considered the possibility that both intelligent design and evolution are true and correct? Are we the same human beings we were 10,000 years ago? NO? Well then, what happened? Were we re-created every few years? Yes! By a process known as evolution. How did it all start? By intelligent design. Did we come from apes or monkeys? NO! This is the argument of those too lazy to think. Think of a tree laid down. Now notice that all creatures follow pretty much the same design. Put a base design at the trunk and follow the branches until they become twigs. At any point along the trunk/limb web any creature can be added. But this violates the bible you say. So what? Almost everything violates the bible. The bible says it took GOD one day to create all the universes throughout the cosmos, all the stars, all the planets, all the comets, all the meteorites, all the black holes and all the anti-matter. This was easy but creating the earth,of that was difficult, it took all of another day. Get real folks. The bible was written by what we now would consider primitive man trying to explain that which he could not.

Many times when someone answers or asks a question they omit things. There will always be some, who for what ever reason do this. The persons question should have been worded better. But the intention of their question still remains the same. Much like reading my eight year old writings. Yes, a statement should always be accompanied by references, or stated as an opinion. But let's face it, that's not likely to always happen.

yeah that would be contradictory. and yes, any claim made should be backed up with evidence -- lest we believe the sky is purple. of course, given any claim (pro or con) you should be prepared for the inevitable responses (thus, when someone says that evolution is untestable because it fails tests -- you would respond 1. Contradictory reponse proves evolution IS testable 2. Scientists constantly test evolutionary theory (and then give an example or two) Impact: Your point is proven because your opponents admission that evolution is tested, scientists test it ..

1. Yes. It contradicts everything evolution has undergone. It also ignores the fact that evolution takes place of millions of years, not in a space of seconds.

2. Whoever who wrote this is an idiot for not backing up his statement. That's what the remarks are for.

I constantly fail tests that I am subjected to, I can't type with my elbows and I don't know any cool agnostic tricks. Therefore do I exist?

You can't say its not testable and then say it fails tests. It can't fail tests if it can't be tested!! Argh! Confusion. I agree, it needs to be backed up with some sort of evidence.

I have recently had quite a few answers like this...I am not sure how anyone can dismiss it so simply..

What tests indeed? certainly not the Human Gerome Project DNA research that proved it happened unequivocally

People who believe that everything in the Bible is true are obviously ignoring some basic things----and think that it is correct to do so. Hence the answer that doesnt make sense. If what they believe doesn't make sense, why would their answers?!

LOL...clearly it's testable or it couldn't fail tests. My answer--check it out for yourself and draw your own conclusion that makes sense to you.
