If it feels good, do it. I don't think it'll work well, but it's better than missionaries building 'schools' of indoctrination in Africa.

Carry on, my wayward son. You never know; there just might be peace when you are done.

Even tough I am an atheist, I think that if your god tells you that you have to spread his word (which is very annoying to me because I already heard his word and I'm not interest in converting to it) there is no better place than this (in here people can decide wether or not they want to read what you write). It is visited by lots of people and you could gain some points for the afterlife (I don't know how that works tough). Just try to be nice to those that don't have the same beliefs as you do, because your Christ character would want you to love thy enemies.

There are a lot of people who don't believe and they will make fun. But, if what you say on here reaches one single person, then that is wonderul. Remember the parable that Jesus told about the sower and the seeds. Some of the seeds fell on rocks and wouldn't sprout. Some fell on shallow earth and the roots couldn't grow deep so the plants quickly withered. But some of the seeds fell on good ground and were fruitful. Never give up spreading the Word of God, even when it seems like no one is listening. You never know who you might touch.

Knowing who your talking about helps. That we have such incomplete information of how the word of God since the advent of Jesus really is different, the writers who are believable, not hypocrits, were more concerned with us knowing Jesus really did teach us Gods way and that he freed the Jew from the previously enforced Laws of dedication. That so much of later teachings repudate and obscure the love Jesus spoke about really brings up your question; Is helping others doing Gods work, or is it doing what God instructs mankind to do. You do know that God only loves those who love him don't you? So is being nice to anyone a witness? Its a qualified yes. Just as any saved individual can point others in the right direction, thats the correct witness.

Yes, because you are reaching people worldwide. You are carrying out our Lord's Great Commission. Keep working at it. It is frustrating at sometimes because you have to wade through a lot of garbage and take a lot of hits off ungodly people, but it will help to build your character and strengthen your spirit and faith. It will also give you an excellent insight as to how the corrupt mind works and it will also challenge your knowledge of the Bible. God bless you. Just remember to use spell-check and use good English grammar----this will lessen the harassment that you receive.

My hopes are the same as yours... that I am doing the Lord's work on here helping people turn to the Lord. This is not the best forum because there is so much crude negativity, the kind of which you do not usually find in one on one evangelizing.

Obviously if it does you good and does nobody else any harm, then do it.
Be prepared though- as you may dismiss other people's views and standpoints as nonesense, other people may regard yours as a the same. Some people spout such religious and political rubbish on here I think they belong more in an Institution.
Be careful you don't use this is a platform to preach, Church is the place for that, This is the place to help and maybe have some fun!

You could be.?!
We dont really know which works are our 'good works' that honor God. But His Word never returns to Him void and accomplishes what it has set out to do. Also, you will be surprised what really spreads His Word. It may just be the way you joyfully go about your daily life and duties. So many of us Christians are looking for ways to do 'good works' when they are right in front of us in our daily lives.

This is a great place to help and spread the word.
just don't get hurt by all those who call you IDIOT, or whatever.
Sometimes you can post questions too about GOD, or JESUS, and then you will get some who are BELIEVERS, and some who are straight from the devil...
But yes.
I found this site just a few months(like 6) ago and for me it was the perfect forum to reach people...for GOD in JESUS CHRIST.
amen.

Well, you're making no effect on me. I'm an unbeliever and I'm not planning to change. Anyway, "spreading" your truth is very arrogant. You've got to discuss your truth against other people's truths, and come to a conclusion. I'm not interested in whatever a person has to say, if that person cannot listen and see what's true about the others in return.

The Bible says that man shall be judged by his deeds, and I feel that if you are honestly trying to answer the questions that you can, no matter the category, then this is a good deed. Which means you will be rewarded in Heaven
