why we are here on this site ? you may say to anwer ppl`s Q and ask them ,ok so it a great way to communicate with others but why ( specially in religion and spirituality section ) ppl attack each other and try impose their beliefs on others for example some ppl here attacking islam and accuse muslims with terrorism ,if they are here only to attack not to communicate or know how others think and how can we get along ? i mean after all we all are humans despite our differences , if they are here to attack only so i hope they enjoy their ignorance cuz believe me when they attack islam or any other religion it doesnt affect anyone but them , muslims remains muslims as matter of fact it makes many ppl wanna know about islam more ( the same is applied to any other religion ) for example if person kept attacking christians ,i will try to get to know more christians and understand christianity , this doesnt mean to convert but at least to understand each other
not in a competition .

That's about as ignorant as stating that Warren Jeffs and the current Pope of the Roman Catholic church think alike!!

So, why can't people understand that the Muslim faith is very diverse as well?

As an agnostic, I found that there are some good philosophic points in the Bible and the Koran.Generally people are decent but too far to the right or left is scary. Never take anything to seriously.

The computer at work is flat, with a type of hood over it, to insure privacy. It makes me lean forward alot. Coupled with that,I have discovered Yahoo when I am not busy at work. THEN add playing on the computer here in my home...I guess that's the problem. I took some Advil last night, and a Flexeril(muscle relaxant)this morning. I should have taken it last night..darn it. Anyway, hot baths and prayers before I go to work, today. Any other suggestions?

are either encouraging or discouraging. Encouraging because I am beginning to understand Islam a bit better. Discouraging because I realize it's not easy to understand Islam. Their Quran verses can easily be taken out of context. Their's more to it than just verses. You've got to have knowledge on the historical background at the time the verse was spoken and whom it particularly refers to. Unlike, in the new testament what was spoken by Jesus can almost be taken plain and simple. What is said is what you literally get.

The reason I brought this out is because from what I had this few questions and answers with our Muslim brothers it just struck on me the reasons some Muslims went astray and onto the extreme they may have been just like my style that out of ignorance they pick certain verse and viola they hold in their hand the religious conviction beyond the norms

Could it be the difficulty in understanding Quran the reasn behind the extremist religious conviction?

Priests, clergy, footballers, policemen, and everyone except the dog are into ''messing about'' (and maybe the dog too)
It is so dispicable that I cannot find words that will adequately explain my horror at such behaviour.

I'm sort of shy person, not really a open type of person. More of an introvert. If I want to meet other gay people or make gay friends, do you know any good sites to meet them at?

Parents who keep there kids off the religious path are just pushing there own values on there kids. The way of the world is a law/religion in itself, people in groups are so predictable and similar they just pretend they are free but have set behaviour and follow it religiously. Thats how yo identify with each other, Saturday footie, friday pub or drink heavy, corrie, enders, chat show, star gate... yuk. Many kids including me have fallen out with parents trying to find God. Jesus is a winner man.

right then, get your heads around this. luke 21:24 says jerusalem(representing true worshippers of God) would be trampled on by the nations until the appointed time is fulfilled. jerusalem was destroyed in 607bce begining that time period. daniel 4:23-25 is a prophecy with a double meaning. initially it refered to nebuchadnezzer, but it also refers to Gods kingdom. the scripture speaks of 7 times passing over. so 7 times will pass over from 607bce to the coming of Gods kingdom. revalation 12:6,14 can be used to see that 3 and a half times is 1260 days. so 7 times is 2520 days. nothing happened 2520 days after 607 bce, but if we use the 'day for a year' principle found innumbers 14:34 and ezekial 4:6, that is 2520 years. 2520 years after 607 bce is 1914.
so if Gods kingdom began ruling in 1914, we would expect the signs of christs presence (matthew 24:3-14) to be seen. plus, revalation 12:9 explains why bad things happen. talk to jehovahs witnesses. they know a thing or two.
