A lot of people that I know have collections of some kind .Some are serious collectors and some just for fun . For example I collect Prefume bottles . On the fun side I have Black & white Cows in my kitchen .Let's see what you collect . Tell how you got started,

I know that chanting om mani padme hum can go ahead and change our problems and thier impacts but how does the principle work , does it mean that different style of chanting have different effects, and when should I chant it to find a good job and career??

Are you a:

Year round gatherer and store it back till Dec., where do you store it all throughout the year?
Shop like crazy the day after Thanksgiving for all the specials on sale (are the savings really worth the craziness?)
Last minute shopper out on Christmas Eve looking for just a couple more things?

I'm working out my budget, so this came to mind for over the next 6 months.

You would not be expected to love a partner that made your life intolerable and caused you immense pain and suffering. Likewise, you would not expect a dog to love an abusive owner.

Then why do all religions expect people to trust and love a god that abuses them in the exact same fashion?

Does God have to be moral and does he have to do what the Bible says he will do?

We know that God has infinite powers, so isn't he capable of doing things the Bible says he won't do? For instance, hypothetically, couldn't God send sinners to heaven and non-sinners to hell if he so desired?

This is happening to me in Fanasy Football. A white person's team name is the N******, and i asked everyone if they thought it should be changed, and no-one did. However, i thought black people would be offended if someone white used that word, but there are no black people in our league, so no one agreed with me. Does he not have that right as a white person, or is the right to free speech as an American more important?

So many non-believers generalizing Christians as preachers who impose their beliefs when most aren't, some Christians overdoing it by talking about God in the completely wrong category/circumstances! Gosh, can't we just let each other be? We are different. Let's accept and respect each other the way we are instead of constantly questioning or imposing when all it'll provoke is hatred! For instance, I highly disagree with what non-believers say, but I don't insult them. I may contradict sometimes when I really think the non-believer had over done it himself, though I don't insult him or anything... can't we once and for all keep to ourselves and stay more tolerable when the time comes that we converse with each other???
