The problem pal, was that you were never a christian because you were never 'born again' ...you can't be born a Christain unless you are 'born again' by the spirit of God.

So have at it if you want to become a Muslim.... but don't try to deceive yourself into believing you ever were a Christian.

BTW, it won't do any good to change your name...God doesn't care ...He sees the sin still in your heart and unless that is dealt with your name won't matter.

I think you should change once more to become a Baha'i. In doing so you will be loyal to God and to all His Messengers.
"The Bahá'í Faith is an independent world religion. With more than five million adherents residing in over 124,000 localities, the Bahá'í Faith is established in 204 countries across the planet. The spiritual principles of the Bahá'í Faith affirm its overall purpose--to bring about the oneness of humanity. In cooperation with these same principles, Bahá'ís also believe that there is only one Creator and that the spiritual truth of all religions is the same. From a Bahá'í perspective, The Bahá'í Faith is the most recent of the world's great religions. It forms the next link in a chain of important, divine teachings, a progressive revelation that places Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith, as the Messenger of God for this age."
Please, take a further step to get assured that you are trodding the path of truth.

From Christian to Muslim? Like going from the frying pan into the fire.

To change your name, just find a name you like; Aye Bee Dumbo might be one possibility; or Abdul Rashman, or Osama Bin Laden (if you want to drive Homeland Security up a wall), then march down to your local town hall, pay 20 dollars, and there you are--only remember to change everything connected to your old name to your new name.

If you are in the UK you can change your name by deed-poll. What I don't understand is why you feel you have to change your name. You know that you have converted to Islam. If you weren't christened Christian and your family name isn't Christianson, then what's the problem?
I know Turkish Muslims who are called Isa (Jesus)
If not already, are you going to be circumcised?

It doesn't cost much to change it by deed poll via a solicitor, it will then be your legal name and you must use it on all official documents, only your birth certificate can remain unchanged.

However, God will still know you by what He choses to call you, will still see you as one of His own, who has turned His back on His very Son, whom He sent to die on the cross for your sins. Some do this without knowing, others, like you have full knowledge of the gift of living in Grace and not by law that God has given us with Christ's death. There is no other religion that will give that to you, because its about faith, not religion.

God does not impose restrictions upon us about what we can and cannot do, but allows us free will and to live in a state of Grace by His Holy Spirit. When judgement day comes, He promises heavy punishment for those who have turned their back on His Son. However, as with the prodigal son parable, should you change your mind, and wish to come back to the Lord, He will welcome you with open arms and celebrate your arrival. You will feel cleansed and renewed, born again. I pray that this will happen to you, and maybe this flirtation to Islam (there is no religion called muslim, that's what you become when you convert to Islam) is a way of emotionally telling your parents they let you down in some way, or maybe you lost your way with your faith. Whatever, I will pray that God turns your heart towards Him again and frees you to live in His Grace. God Bless.

God gave us a choice! Was he wrong in letting us choose our faith? I am a British Christian and I suspect you are a British Muslim. We live in a multi faith country and I support your right to choose your religion as a British citizen. Deed poll if you are British love.

No one is "born" a Christian. You have to become one usually by baptism.
I've never understood why a female would want to become a Muslim. I prefer to be free.

mysterious,
Well, your first mistake was in figuring that you were born a Christian. No one is born a Christian. God does not have any grandchildren. You have to trust in God through Jesus Christ to be a Christian.

Oh well, I guess He didn't want you anyway.
