Everybody wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die. This is something I've observed among religious believers in heaven--they want to go to wherever they're going, but they cling to life, no matter how poor the quality.
For me, the two things that make life worth living are curiousity and pleasure. I am curious about just about everything and would like to see what happens next. I also find pleasure in a nice breakfast, a nice walk, a good rain, a good nap, a sip or two of B&B around bedtime, a swim in the sea, and many other things. Why give these up unless one must? If, however, all I have is life without any quality, no pleasure, just survival, then I would definitely end it all. Heaven is a vain expectation that I wouldn't want even if it did exist.

I brought children up in this world and I want to be here as long as I can to see them grow or just be here for them if they need me. Enjoy my grand-children too. Even if I did want to end it, I could not do that because that is a selfish thing to do. You hurt so many people, your parents, your friends, people that have come in contact with you that think you are a great person. Your Mom carried you in her stomach for 9 months and felt you grow and kick and to see the miracle of life that was inside is the biggest blessing God has given us. God does not forgive suicide because that is a choice you made not him. If a person commits suicide out of a state of mental illness, it is not their fault. I know it is hard for people now days to want to keep going because of being so poor and all the killings and sick things that people do to children but If you truly know God is with you, things will be different. I am probably one of the most poor people on the internet but I will not give-up. My Mom said she will never understand how I bounce back from All the bad things I deal with but it is my faith that makes it happen. If more people would just keep trying and never give up, it works out. Sorry for the preaching guys.

The love of Jesus Christ make life worth living. There are hurting people and I know that Jesus can make a difference in their live just like he did in mine. Suicide is such a waste of a human being because it denies God a chance to work good in a person's life. It denies a person the opportunity to overcome sin and be fruitful for God. Thought of suicide are common in everyone---it is part of depression and we live in a depressing world controlled by a demonic media that feeds off the suffering of others. Throw out the TV and the newspapers, and you will discover that life is worth living. Get involved in life---don't run from it. Jesus loves you.

Well I don't believe in the christian version of heaven so I'm certainly not dying to go there. I have more respect for myself than to take the easy way out of things by killing myself. I like my life even though there are painful parts to it. You take the good with the bad and you make yourself a strong person with it. I choose to live.

To end it all would cause too much heartache to my family. To attempt could leave one in hospital and certified insane.
Plus I enjoy life a little, but not much.
I'm an secular atheist, and don't believe in heaven or hell.

well if you beleive in heaven and God you mus also consider tha fact that to kill is a sin and yes he will forgive sin however only if you are alive to repent.
and to get in heaven you must be born be a saint and follow what the Bible says
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
