Recently i'm making a small project that is, making Vocabulary Cds. In them i put recordings i made of vocabulary arranged in categories..verbs, adjectives etc..and then i make sentences. As soon as i started listening , i started to memorize..which was incredible. writing it and practicing tons of times didn't help that much but listening to my voice, now i remember it so much more.

I live in Ohio and near the 2nd largest community of Amish in the world. I have many Amish friends..I am also a "driver" that means I volunteer to drive any Amish person somewhere they have to go but can't take a buggy...sometimes it's a doctor, shopping...all over when they need help. I've got to know about 20 very well and they all speak of the abuse they face...they always ask me why so many hate them etc...I always tell them I don't have a clue why some hate them......they are the most humble kind, generous people..they really are...

Do any of you have a problem with them or know why some people do?

In regards to Evolution Vs Creation.
Can you look at ALL EVIDENCE Without emotion or Bias like a computer?
Example: What if CNN or any or all of the News agency's were to come out and say that Evolutionary Science is wrong and it's evidence was fabricated.
Would you be angry and refuse to accept it out of Partisan politics?
Or would you just accept it. and change.
A superior human being can be with out bias, can you?

My best friend and I want to be kind of "matching" or "joined" costumes this halloween. But nothing cute, no salt and pepper, or thing 1 and thing 2, at the moment we're leading towards Cinderella and Bell (Cinderella and Beauty and the Best), with bloody noses and torn dresses after we've been in a fight.

Are there any American Indians here and enlighten us about your ancient views on Religion or Spirtuality. Most of what we get are from "cowboy and indian" movies or TV shows.

I don't see many or any American Indians speaking up here at all! Do you exist here?

My understanding is I just have to declare out loud that Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and get my head wet, right?

I've been an atheist all my life, so of course I don't actually believe that there is a god, or that jesus' death had anything to do with me, if he was even a real person. The whole concept is so silly that the only way I could actually think it was factual is if I suffered brain damage from a massive head injury, or possibly a 2-year bender.

But as many Christians have pointed out on this site, there's no way to know for sure until you die, and then it might be too late. So I'm going to "play it safe", just like they suggested. I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. Is there anything else I need to do in order to hedge my bet about the afterlife?

Do people who say homosexuality isn't normal, because it's impossible to procreate natrually (without adoption or other means) realize how hypocritical they are being?

If homosexuality isn't normal because it doesn't cause procreation, then that means PROTECTED sex wouldn't be considered normal, and oral sex wouldn't be considered norma.

Sex is for your enjoyment, and people have been doing everything from gay to straight for so long I think it's ALL normal. It's just there's a stupid stigma in todays society about it.

Does anyone agree?

i myself know few of them like- serving her parents; serving her husband; serving and behaving with her husband's friends the same way she does with him; being spiritual; etc......perhaps it has something to do with BUDHHA'S point of view about women and how much freedom she should be given. thoughi dont know much but this is why budhha is criticised for being against female freedom.

I'm a Catholic. We have Litany prayers that tend to repeat many of the same phrases over and over again.

Many protestants believe repetitve prayers are wrong!

Psalm 136 is a litany prayer, and is very repititve. Is that wrong too?

I don’t know about them at all, but while I asked my friend that I want to change my religion from Buddhist to Islam she said there are 2 sections, Sony and Shitty.
Don’t know what to do?

In my opinion, Sony sounds better because here in Japan we have a big company named Sony.
But shitty sounds like Shittt so sorry ,, but I have to say I do not like this name.
