Do people who say homosexuality isn't normal, because it's impossible to procreate natrually (without adoption or other means) realize how hypocritical they are being?

If homosexuality isn't normal because it doesn't cause procreation, then that means PROTECTED sex wouldn't be considered normal, and oral sex wouldn't be considered norma.

Sex is for your enjoyment, and people have been doing everything from gay to straight for so long I think it's ALL normal. It's just there's a stupid stigma in todays society about it.

Does anyone agree?

And not to mention the fact that straight couples sometimes don't have kids, and gay couples can really procreate and have akid through other means.

IT's all such a stupid arguement when you're not using logic!

Pegacita, I want to have sex with men because I admir ethe male body so much... not for any of the stuff you mentioned.

I can only say this.
"But you're better than normal, you're abnormal!"
If it's normal to be such a bigot, then I'm glad I'm not normal.

Okay.. I don't care what two consenting adults do within the privacy of their own bedrooms.. As far as I am concerned, homosexuals should be entitled to the same rights as every other person on this planet, not more, just the same. It is not that it is not normal, normal is the wrong word.

If you look at all organisms, from the one celled kind to the very complicated multi-celled creatures of the animal kingdom, you will see that sex was designed for procreation.. Yes it is pleasurable.. if it weren't we couldn't guarantee the survival of the species. Now, now that we are a million years on in evolution, our survival of as a species is pretty much guaranteed, unless the President of the USA Mr Smirky McChimp does something really stupid like a drop the bomb, we will probably continue for another couple of million.. barring any solar system disasters... Sex now is not strictly necessary for making babies, so now that we have come this far, nature has eased up on the strings a little.. maybe it's her way of slowing down our population.. make more homosexuals.. we have too many people will be the command.. So with that in mind, you are doing what you are supposed to be doing.. so just do it. You can't fight nature.

Homosexuality is normal. In 60 seconds born gay they state it's a combination of genetics and hormones. After all there were kids as little as 2 showing signs of being a homosexual and they grew up to be homosexual. So it's obviously not a choice. Also it's not a birth defect. They say that the environment in the womb before the baby is born has alot to do with it.Though twins can grow up where on is gay and one is straight. The twins that they studied had the same upbringing, yet one is gay and one is straight. So being homosexual is normal. Some people who say it's not genetic etc, that we choose it or it's our outside environment don't know much about homosexuals. There may be people who are homosexual later on in life but it's still not a choice.

Tay-Sachs is genetically caused as well. So is a host of other problems, and even autism has been shown to have a genetic link. So just because something is genetic doesn't mean it is good or desireable.

People have a certain type of sex because that is what they are drawn to. If it is gay sex, that is because it is an inborn tendency. If hetero, the same. But using protection doesn't negate the evolutionary role of heterosexual sex.

However, it all comes down to evolution. Traits evolve because they confer some kind of survival or procreative advantage. Since the use of protection is not part of our evolutionary heritage, it is not considered "abnormal" because the act and the inborn desire to engage in the act of heterosexual sex is still being fulfilled.

As for the other options available to gays for procreation, those options were not available to early humankind, so it is not reflected in our genetic heritage. Though I'd argue that the role now filled by in vitro and other means have taken the role that culture and social stigma did in getting gays to engage in procreative sex in the past.

Homosexuality is not normal and you weren't born gay. There are too many gays that went the other way and too many that had children with the opposite gender and then said they were gay. If they were gay, they wouldn't be able to "do it" with the opposite gender...theoretically.
There is/was something in their life that causes them to be gay.
For example,
Men: 1. They are/were "mama's boys" and having sex with is woman would remind them too much of their mom.
2. They didn't have a close relationship with their dad and therefore want to have a loving relationship with a man.
3. The didn't have a relationship with their mom, so they don't know how to relate to women.
4. They like it tighter.
Women:
1. They were/are abused by a man and want to have nothing to do with them.
2. They weren't very close to their mom's so they want a woman to have a loving relationship with.
3. Their mothers were controlling and they want to find a woman that either they can control or that they can have an "equal" relationship with.
4. They've never been treated well by a man and don't think that any man would treat them well.

Question: If Homo's say that it's their business what they do in private, doesn't the mere fact of telling me you're homo, tell me what you do in private. Ultimately isn't calling yourself gay TMI?

So.....if you're not gay the first 40 years of your life but then you TURN gay, does that mean that you're born gay?
People that are born with obese genes, don't necessarily have to be obese.

these people DON'T consider protected sex, anal sex or oral sex normal, i think. condoms and such are clearly prohibited by the vatican.

however, if they do it anyway, then they are definitely hypocrites. especially since abraham and sarah could not even conceive - sarah was a barren woman - does that make their marriage abnormal? bunch of bullcrap, i say!

Don't Stress your self-out. Normal means Gay to Gay not Man to Woman, that's the best answer coz both have the same gender. So let those hypocrites learn the meaning of the real normal is. Screw them...

homosexuality most definitely is normal...it is genetic. and, yes, we DO procreate!
why do these people say that it's not? raised to hate, ignorance, fear of anyone/anything "different." perhaps it's jealousy? (because their lives are so miserable) maybe they're a closet case? they can spew out as many hateful, ignorant, stereotyped "reasons" as they want...it won't change anything. we've been around as long as mankind...and there hasn't been any "threat" to the world's population.
they need to concentrate on their own lives and their own problems....mind your own business! we're no threat to you! shut up and get a life!
