Pastor Franck Kabele was either deluded or his faith was not strong enough to allow him to walk on water.

According to the bible Jesus said anyone who has faith in him can walk on water, so Christians should either do this all the time or admit that maybe their bible isn't so accurate after all. The bible also attributes to Jesus the ideas that true believers can cure the incurable with a touch, raise the dead and literally move mountains.

It is not a good idea to do things with the wrong motives of self glory. God who is Jesus always does things with the right motives which is to give Glory to God. Death is always the punishment of God whether for Christian or Non-Christian. Only the Christian who is Born Again will escape the punishment of death including hell because they are Born again: not just the sinful man anymore.

Clearly, this evangelist didn't have enough "faith"! Or perhaps he was of the 'modern Christian' persuasion, whereby Christians dismiss basic science & physics in favour of a supernatural explanation for things.

It's never funny when a fellow human being dies a tragic, completely unneccessary death. I will look for this fellow in the next "Darwin Awards"...

Just the title of the article alone was enough to give me an opportunity to say...we cannot truly do what Jesus did. We can grow everyday to try and be more like Him, but we can never be Jesus because we are full of sin by our human natures. Jesus, though human, was the embodiment of God. He was sinless. Therefore He could do things we cannot. But it never means we are to stop trying to be more like Him. God desires us to strive to be more like His Son, but God also knows we can never be His Son or even do what His Son did to the exact. God sees our hearts, and that is what saves us by accepting Him.

Guy got brainwashed, believed strongly in something that didn't exist and paid the price of ignorance...I feel sorry for him, but I also hope that made a lot of his followers question what they are throwing their lives into.

If it's true, it's sad but couldn't he have just resurfaced and said he didn't have enough faith? I also must admit it's kind of funny in an ironic way.

It's a shame he died, but hopefully this will convince at least some of his followers that he was a very deluded man.
