i wanted to ask this question because yesterday i was talking to some guy. am part ov the conversation was about how women are miss treated in were am from..(saudi arabia) Muslim country.. which i thought was interesting.. what he said was.. why do u treat ur women like garbage..and cover them..and other thing's.. ..

but if u think about it.. women are allot more respected..in Islam.. u see.. in Islam women have the same rights as men..that's why men have no right to use women as object's ov pleasure..like the western world has .for example (strip clubs- media stations.and other things that show women..as something to look at and have fun with.. that's why islam say's women should cover there bodies' and wear hejab..

so why do people think that islam . doesn't give women rights. if u read about Islam..or know anything about it, ull know that women have the same Rights as men,,

what do u think about this subject. and what other points u want to give.

This is what I do... As a southerner, I wake up everyday not take a shower, and eat my corn bread and chicken listenining to Alan Jackson. An hour latter, we feed the pigs and prepare to move the garbage to dad's room, if didn't get it the term "pig" is what we call our family members, mine are Kyle, Michele Mathew and Jason.
Michele is the youngest and my sister, last night Kyle and Jason gangbanged her, now my beer belly dad and my hoodrat mom are in trouble with the law. How should we change?

I'll begin with the commonly accepted beliefs about god and the creation of man with my question. This is something that I've never been able to reconcile, and I'm curious what sort of answers I'll get. I'm not a Christian, though I do have an extensive background in the area.
Ok, so Christian doctine teachs that god is all-knowing and all-powerful. He knows all that is, all that has been, and all that is to be. He has no beginning and no end. Now, with those things in mind, we come to the creation of man. It stands to reason that god knew what would happen after man's creation. He knew that man would sin, and he knew that centuries of suffering would follow, and he also knows that, eventually, he'll cast billions of his creations into eternal hellfire.

My question is this: why would god, knowing all the above, create man, knowing it would cause untold pain? Certainly, a select few will meet the standards, but are those few worth the suffering of the countless billions?

why don't they help us destroy the brainless scum like osama bin liner and the mambers of hizbollox. Is it because they hope that the terrorists will win anyway so at least they'll get their universal caliphate and return the world to the dark ages?
Does this show that in reality, islam (or mohommedanism as it should really be called as allah is really only mohommed by another name) is a dangerous and brutal regime in the making.

I don't like to be excessively critical of our Catholic friends but if you have someone whose main job is removing evil spirits from people condemning a work of fistion as 'the devil', does it not suggest that the musty halls of the Vatican aren't getting enough oxygen?

Do you think that the cause of Catholicism is helped or hindered by 'chief exorcists' getting worried about Harry Potter instead of, I don't know, a million other things he could be doing?

Here's a link for the link-lovers:

I am curious: I know that in general Muslims consider Jews and Christians to be "People Of The Book", with some required respect for their religious beliefs. But what about members of what the west sees as the other branch of Islam?

Sunni: Are Shiite also "People Of The Book, or are they heretics?

Same for Shiite: Are Sunni also "People Of The Book", or are they heretics?

Is cooperation possible, between devout members of the two groups?
