Well, the way I see it, the man died doing what he loved to do. He knew the dangers of what his job entailed. I think one has to have a little bit of a death wish to do what he did every day. I always thought it would be a poisonous snake that would do him in, though. Never a stingray. Wow, that was a shocker. I'm surprised they weren't more prepared for emergencies than they were. If it took an hour for a helicopter to reach them...but I don't know if that's true yet or rumor.
I know, it is very sad. I keep thinking of those beautiful kids without their dad there now. How sad! I hope they do a documentary of his life including his wife and kids. I always loved watching the shows when Bindi was on...she's so cute!
Steve and Sui are together again at last. RIP Steve-o!

I am a devoted christian as well as a fan of the crocodile hunter. What happened was a tragedy and we're all sad to hear about it. I believe Steve Irwin was one of the most loved people in the world.
I do not believe that everything is the act of God. I do not think it was God's intention for Adam to sin against him and I do not believe it was his intention to have so much suffering in the world. God loves us and so he let us go into the world ourselves to decide for ourselves just what we want from life and from him. What happened to Steve was no different. It was a very tragic accident but it was still an accident. God may have knew it would happen but I don't think he willed it to happen. Someday we'll all know the truth about what happened, and we'll know if it was really in God's plan but until then, this is just my opinion.
I think Steve left with no regrets other than leaving his family behind, I think he would have been happy with his life as well as his death. Good-bye Steve Irwin, the whole world loves you very much and we all will miss you!

It is appointed unto man ONCE to die.........then judgment, he lived a full life and enjoyed all the good things to be had, I hope he made time to plan eternity.

But I for one never heard he had a spiritual side.
So, we only know what we see or hear. We cannot judge. God had a plan for his life as well as ours.

We are saddened by his death and of course his wife will go on and children will grow up without him. They will know him tho through all his films. Most children don't have that kind of remembrance.

Grieve for the living, not the dead. We know our God is good and all things work for the good who know Him.

We can lengthen or shorten our lives by things we do. As you know, Steve put himself in dangerous situations all the time. He was the daredevil of our days. We all do this some time or other. Call it luck or faith that we survive.

He just ran out of time. It was his time to go. I believe there is a time to live and a time to die. He was having a time of his life when he went. Stingrays are not normally hostile so he feared no danger. Just too sad he died so young.

Like you, I was sad when I read about Steve Irwin's demise. There is no need to be upset with God though. Death is just a part of life. Tomorow is not promised to any of us. This is why the Bible says "Prepare to meet your God" (Amos 4:12).
God has made it possible for you to prepare for when your time comes to stand before Him. God loves you. He sent Jesus Christ, His only Son, to die on the cross for you. Christ rose from the dead, conquering death for you. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Have you received this free gift? Why not open your heart to Christ today? You will never regret it.
Let us keep Steve Irwin's wife and children in our prayers.

It wasn't God's plan it was the Irwin's plan, he is the god that created Australia ya' know, his will is not to be questioned, unless you are asking which show is on the Planet, the temple of his word.

Support Conservations and dare not ye' to capture the holy croc.

In all things the bloke is huge. Amen. Crickey!

Maybe you need to look at science instead. I prayed every night and still my Father died, and under suspicious circumstances as my sister was set on getting my parents' money. I miss my Father. I have dreams that he is still alive and I grab him and warn him about my sister and bring him somewhere safe.

Years from now they will probably find out more about the brain (especially with the cloning research). Wouldn't it be something to find that we are born blank, with no soul and develop into ourselves by genetic programming and environment?

What would that mean? It would probably mean that this is our ONLY life. So, those who are oppressed and/or poor will most likely lose out in the one life they have.

yes its sad,but blaming God for this is not right,he knew everyday the dangers he faced and he made the choice,I'm sad and just really heart sick over this, but this is not God's fault.I prayed for his family, and he had a sweet little family, and he will be missed, but it was a accident,he probably got to close,i really haven;t had the heart to watch and find out.
