i wanted to ask this question because yesterday i was talking to some guy. am part ov the conversation was about how women are miss treated in were am from..(saudi arabia) Muslim country.. which i thought was interesting.. what he said was.. why do u treat ur women like garbage..and cover them..and other thing's.. ..
but if u think about it.. women are allot more respected..in Islam.. u see.. in Islam women have the same rights as men..that's why men have no right to use women as object's ov pleasure..like the western world has .for example (strip clubs- media stations.and other things that show women..as something to look at and have fun with.. that's why islam say's women should cover there bodies' and wear hejab..
so why do people think that islam . doesn't give women rights. if u read about Islam..or know anything about it, ull know that women have the same Rights as men,,
what do u think about this subject. and what other points u want to give.

What? In western countries you are ALLOWED to dress modestly, or not modestly as you wish. In other words, the woman CHOOSES if she wishes to be looked at like that.
Therefore women have greater right to choose here than if there was something that they MUST do.
What, did you think it was compulsory to dress immodestly, or that women did not want to dress like that or something?

its a great misconception that women are treated ill in Islam. Thats a great lie, women have the same rights as men, and they are told to dress modestly for their own good. tell me whats so good abt the right to dress unmodest? one day or the other, someone might molest her or GOD Forbid might even rape her (roughly 2 rapes occur in 1 minute on average in america, its Not me saying, its the stats, have a look at them)? what is so good abt the beauthy paegent contest? these contest are for horny men, who make it seem like they are celebrating women, but actually they are viewing them with lustful eyes when they walk around in their bikinis, and have u notice how superficial and artificial, it is to see them smiling with all their teeths open, i mean what is so funny or amusing happening that they are smiling continuosly the whole time. don't women want to be taken as real as they are, to feel what they really feel, instead of making them smile like a plastic doll on a showcase. tell me who used to see shows like baywatch? didn't women feel disgrace by it? men just used to see naked chicks running all the time? tell me, are women a piece of meat that u go into a strip-club and they shake 'it' for u? women seems to be a commodity, when they are published in Playboy or Penthouse.
in Islamic countries, it is an additional responsibility of men to protect women from the evilry of the society, and they have the same right as men, in every matter. Peace to all.

As a ex christian can say ......my status in Islam now is very good.
I feel respect, care, love and proper treatment by men around, muslim men I mean as I live in arabic country.
I do not want to go back to christian society...

Women should cover themselves so men don't see them as sex objects...
What does that then say about men?
It is all about freedom of choice. To be able to show as little or as much as you want.
Being forced to cover yourself so men don't view you as a sexual object is degrading for men - because it makes them all sound like perverts and it is degrading for women, because it implies that all we are is sexual objects in the first place.

i have no problem whit Muslim women...it's the men that are insane
besides, what would happen to you if one day you decide you don't want to cover you head...
