Is not life meant for servicing ur partner freind or society with belongingness and thinking that God lives in every heart. A moment will come when entire universe will be in ur heart and that is true love. Is not doing sex and demanding more and more from one's paertner keeps u away from God. Is not we need to just love care our near ones. Sexuality ar bodily needs should be limited to just when it is permitted by almighty to extend his empire not like beasts all time thinking about food sex and more and more demand from our near one's. "Pomud. Pe ropupa su jom? Pima su nil flon bom pol nud vemapa su."

I don't have the slightest clue to what it is. Someone wrote it to me and they won't tell me what it says. Anyone know or at least have an educated guess as to what language it is? Much love.

Buddha taught all suffering arises from desire and aversion (attachments)

Wouldn't you rather be able to laugh at your death, then get all upset about it? Why choose unhappiness and suffering?

Although I do not share your beliefs I am sorry I tried to pull you away from what makes you happy. I have to admit I absolutely despised your beliefs but I have thought about it and think they are not so bad for society. Besides, where were the Atheist Katrina relief funds?

My personal opinion: More than religion, I think the world needs a little more love so this is my first attempt. ;)

Apology accepted?

"I want my people to stay with me here. All the dead men will come back to life again. Their spirits will come back to their bodies again. We must wait here in the homes of our fathers, and be ready to meet them in the bossom of our mother."

Sound like a Rapture? It's a Native American quote: Wovoka, from the Paiute Tribe, speaking of our indigenous people's original Spirituality before the Christians came.

Any thoughts?

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

It is one of my favorites!

I am told to do what jesus would do in any given situation. Firstly Jesus wouldnt have a job, a second morgage, or kids in school. Secondly Jesus had God to tell him what to do personally. How am i to know what he would do and how am i to follow such a strict path when i have so many other respondsibilities. If i were to do What Jesus would do i would give up everything and go on the road preaching to the masses. I cant do that so how can i follow that saying?

First of all, thank you to all the Christians who've been answering my questions. I just rededicated my life to the Lord after not having been to church in 6 months and not having had a real relationship with God for a year.

So my question: I was reading my Bible and I came across "the Year of Jubilee." There's an awesome Christian song about the Year of Jubilee that I enjoy hearing. Here are the lyrics: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/3819/lyrics_days_of_elijah.htm

After reading the Bible, I understand that historically, the Year of Jubilee was a time when debts were canceled, slaves were freed people rejoiced and miracles took place. It took place every 50 years.

However, we sing the song all the time:
Behold He comes! Riding on the clouds!
Shining like the sun! At the trumpet call
Lift your voice! It's the year of Jubilee!
And out of Zion's hill salvation comes!

So can every year be the Year of Jubilee? I think that'd be awesome!
