Again, you need to define your terms.

You also need to verify your numbers. You do not seem to have a grasp of truth.

You are also illogical and try to support irrational statements, phrased as a question, but presupposing answers.

And from one sampling, you derive "it seems strange", then presume it to be true.

How is it that Christians differ from Realists? You presume we differ in what way? Christians take their Bible literally as the only truth, that cannot be proven otherwise. The Bible is also a very practical and matter-of-fact way of approaching or assessing situations or of solving problems. What more of a pragmatist or realist could qaulify, but Christians?

Your question can not be answered because your premise (the statement in the question) is not real. The question assumes that Christians and realism do not touch. Besides this, 42 to 1 seems like an arbitrary figure and not a true measurement. Your mistakes are in making absolute statements as part of your question. Besides this, "It seems strange" can not apply to a Christian, but it is said as though it is "all encompassing". Besides that, it is an abstract, but your question pursues a concrete answer. The better question is: "What truth of two groups is the truth?"

Not every response merits either a thumbs up or a thumbs down. At least some people, when presented with a well-reasoned argument, will consider that it does not deserve a thumbs down even if they do not agree with it. When looking at answers in this topic, I award few of either, but polemics or other ill-reasoned responses may earn a thumbs down.

The late-night yahoo internet crowd does not have the same demographic of the general population. Perhaps the good christians woke up early for church today, and have since gone to bed-----rendering them unable to vote in religious answers.

(This applies to US time zones)

You mean in here? It varies a lot from day to day and the time of day. Sometimes I think a lot of people are just reading and not answering until something spurs them to action.

It does not mater what religion you are as long as you agree with observable facts. I guess the thumbs down just can't agree with what they observe with their own eyes.
