Yes, there is. However since the religious person asking the question is essentially asking a question about Santa, the Easter Bunny or Tooth fairy, they are unknowingly asking a question that is a joke.

Yes if one is truly seeking knowledge and needs hard tough question answered then that is quite serious and he must first of all on his own do research and the history of the question he needs knowledge of so yes there are quite a few serious questions for example
Jesus is not God nor has he ever said nor confessed to this so why are there a religion which follow such a false doctrine which is the Christian religion and if it is Christ like acting shouldn't they be willing to rely on only God as Christ did and live and die in Gods name and pray directly to God as Jesus did he fully relied on God and Christian are relying on using Jesus name for all prayer and worship!
God dismisses this and has always said honor and worship me only and the christian has failed to obey the most Important rule of the Almighty God and i don't know how they could short themselves this way and it saddens me! this is not religion this is learned behavior from parent also in error and they simply follow blindly this here New Testament and for what if anyone has noticed at the end the author tells them in there so very holy book that they see nothing but pain and torment in the end now that's cold for it to be in revelations for them all to know that there is some horrors they must witness!

Sure there is. I quite enjoy having in-depth religious discussions with someone of a different belief system, as long as they remain courteous and open-minded.

Though, if you're asking your question from a strict materialistic viewpoint, then no, there is no such thing.

Probably....however, the definitions of "serious" is pretty vague....

If you mean theologically.....
If you mean philosophically....
If you mean a point of discussion that could have several "valid" points of view....

an example???
consider the apparent contradiction between the ineffability and the immanence of the godhead ....

a different viewpoint ....if reading a question and then reading the answers gives the reader a different point of view, a new perspective, some new-to-them reference material, a new consideration....couldn't almost all questions be "serious"???

[ignoring the inane, the proselytizing, the insulting...etc etc]

I'd say so. At least some of the questions posed here are at least somewhat profound and require thought, although far too many are simply polemics or proselytizing. Does God exist? If so, what should be done? These are serious issues, with real-life consequences.

When we have serious religion questions, God laughs. He/She/It/They/We know that most serious religion questions will be forgotten in a day or 2 but laughter is holy.
