For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain,"Move from here to there," and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:20) Because it tells us that even if we have just a little bit of faith we can command any obstacle to move and it will -- this is a promise that Jesus made to us and we can claim this promise and believe God for a miracle. He says in this verse that He will do a miracle to us if we just believe Him to do it, so it's one of the best verses showing that we can be victorious over such things as sickness and poverty if we just believe.

My favorite Bible verse(s):

romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, 8:29 because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 8:30 And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.

8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 8:32 Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things? 8:33 Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 8:34 Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died (and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us. 8:35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 8:36 As it is written, “For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 8:37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through Him who loved us! 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Because it's amazing that God would love us so much and NOTHING can seperate us from that love.

Love in Christ,
Tink

Deuteronomy 6:4 I have adopted it as a credo.

After all there must be a lot there for God to tell His people to recite it every day(in 2 places in scripture). So I sing it, I know several tunes for it in Hebrew and English and recite it as often as possible.

Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to give you hope and a future.....' etc....

My favorite because I know His promises are true and even when I doubt my future or am depressed about the present....I know there is something ahead that is grand and glorious.

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39, NLT).

This is one of my favorites. I love it becuase no matter what I know that nothing can seperate me from God.
