the man that represents the bride talks to the groom and they establish the wedding contract in front of 2 Muslim witnesses. that's it. the bride is normally with other women, getting pretty and ready.

there is no such term as "traditions of a muslim wedding." in most muslim countries, it s the traditions of the country that go back to hundreds of year in history that have to do with it. it s ridiculous to think that Islam or any other religion may prescribe special traditons to celebrate a wedding!!

The bride, bridegroom, 2 witnesses and the bride's representative (usually her father) have to be present during the ceremony. Then the bride and the bride's representative will exchange some oaths.
