Honestly...as long as he keep in the privacy of the group. Take it outside it may be trouble. The word is an INSIDE word to us. Example: Ladie's sometime freely call themselves bitchhes to each other just to joke around...Buuuut they get offended when i guy (UNLESS HE"S GAY) calls them that rather they are playing or serious. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CALL OURSELVES THAT, Caucasians should keep it out of their mouths....BUT YEAH ITS HIS RIGHT AS OF FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND SPEECH, But everything has Consiquences.

The word is offensive, regardless of who uses it. It does make it worse that he is white, but it's not JUST because he is white.
I define n*&&^ as an ignorant person, and I would guess the person is giving the title to himself. It is just incredible how crass people can be.
He has the right to name it whatever he wants. People have the right in to be as ignorant as they want.

The person has right to call his team whatever he wants, but it's in very bad taste. Here's some food for thought: "Just because you can doesn't mean you should". I wouldn't be on the team. Some people have small minds.

Personally, I am so sick of hearing the N word that I would like to see a huge fine or jail time for anybody, regardless of race, who uses it.
So why do white guys call each other by that name?
BTW, I am white.

Its a word and is only derogatory if it is used against a person as an insult to his colour. If it is the name of a team let it be. I hope the team does well.

Doesn't sound any more insulting than Washington "Redskins". That is a direct slap at Native Americans and the courts have said it is ok, so why should any other group be exempted?
