Someone told me that the evolutionist charles darwin converted to christanity before he died. does anyone know if this is true, because all his studies were against what Christians beleive, and he was pretty stuck on that.

Darwin was a nutcase who saw bird beaks grow and believed that everything evolved out of some common ancestor. An extreme leap of fact if there ever was one. Actually Christianity had nothing to do with his beliefs though perhaps if he spent a little more time studying the Bible he would have come up with a better theory.

That story about Darwin converting on his deathbed is fiction.
The fact that such a story was written and circulated should raise some serious questions in your head about the ethics of the creationists. Why, if creationism is true, do the creationists have to resort to this kind of lie to defend their position? Why would people who claim to be on the moral side of a moral issue think that they could get away with a lie this obvious?

Darwin did not convert to Christianity on his deathbed. Darwin isn't the only one Christians have claimed to have done this. Just more of their lies trying to shield away the questions people have about how could god send good people to burn in hell for eternity.
I can hardly see how anyone ought to wish Christianity to be true; for if so the plain language of the text seems to show that the men who do not believe, and this would include my Father, Brother, and almost all my best friends, will be everlastingly punished. And this is a damnable doctrine. Charles Darwin.
"I gradually came to disbelieve in Christianity as a divine revelation... Disbelief crept over me at a very slow rate, but was at last complete. The rate was so slow that I felt no distress, and have never since doubted even for a single second that my conclusion was correct." [Charles Darwin].
"Now must we overlook the probability of the constant inculcation in a belief in God on the minds of children, producing so strong and perhaps an inherited effect on their brains not fully developed, that it would be as difficult for them to throw off their belief in God, as for a monkey to throw off its instinctive fear and hatred of a snake." [Charles Darwin].
"For my part I would as soon be descended from a baboon...as from a savage who delights to torture his enemies...treats his wives like slaves...and is haunted by the grossest superstitions." [Charles Darwin, "The Descent of Man"]

Darwin was a Christian all his life. He originally trained as a clergyman.
The fact that some ignorant so-called, Christians do not acccept the obvious truth of Evolution does not shake my belief in God, or the theory of Evolution.
Creation theory is bad science and bad theology.
Creationists are you sure God wants you to be a mouth-breathing, ignoramus?

I didn't know that he wasn't Christian. Just because you're a scientist, it doesn't make you an atheist. Look at Einstein. There are all kinds of quotes floating around where he talks about God and how awe inspiring science and nature are. Who's to say God didn't create evolution to keep us dumbfounded. I think it's kinda funny how this whole thing keeps people churned up.

Hey
No he didn't it was a myth you can have a look at this site or lots or others www.christiananswers.net/q-aig/darwin.html - that are not from christian sources.
He was a christian when he was younger.
Also there are many christians who believe in evolution and do not find them incompatible. Check out

No, he did not. Also, many Christians accept Darwin's theory of evolution.

Don't think so. Darwin set about proposing the theory to oppose Creationism and even used underhand methods to substantiate is "theory"
