This question is not here to make you believe in God at the moment, this is to show you error in evolution.

Can you explain:
If the big bang created everything... what created the big bang? Was it made of matter or energy? Both if it is matter and if it is energy, it got there somehow.

What caused it to explode? nothing can move without something to move it, so what events led to the bang? and what came to that?

Whether the Big bang does or doesn't exist... how can there be no beginning? try to emagine the beginning... the big bang right? now, what came before that? something made an explosion or whatever it was that made us. how far back can human logic allow us to go?
The point? There must be a beginning, infinity didn't come before the bang.

Before you say 'But then if nothing can have always been, how was God?", God created reality and time itself. Time is a phisical measurement, God is the same when it all started as he will be tomorrow.

How can you be right?

Wow, Based on my last posting i have found that there are alot of people who have strong views about this subject. So lets answer questions. First of all, this forum is not meant to attack or disregard your feelings... just to stir. Secondly, I am not presuming things, Faith- biblical says "faith is beliving in what we cannot see or hoping in things yet to come". With that being said... all i am asking for is a responce to say, why is it that people use their emotions to dictate their apoligetics (or reason for their faith)? I am not looking to be told that i am arrogant or pias... i am just looking for reasons why it is that many people seem to not be able to say that God does not exist... the answer should be simple... I know people and situations are different but ultimately why cant we say the things that may prove that God exists. For me... my daughter is one... many people may say it is by chance, but genetically it is amazing how people are formed, to me dont think it's luck.

Anti evolutionists constantly say that evolution is not truely scienctifically sound because it is just a theory. Well so is the bible. Also did you ever think that you chose christianity because the alternative is very difficult to deal with. I too am afraid of the unknown i fear death because i fear the uncertainty but conforming to faith doesnt make the world a better place. Cant you have values without faith. The truth is that no one knows and no one will ever know what our greater pupose is beyond life. Is it far fetched to say that the point of life is to live.

Is there a meeting place for people who just believe there is a God? Something like what Christians do every Sunday, or Jewish temple, Muslim mosque... but for just God believers? I would like to attend such a place.

Oh and please don't answer this unless you actually know of such a place. I am not looking to be converted or made to feel guilty for not being Christian/Muslim/Jewish or any other religion.

Where were you guys on the morning of 9-11-01?

Me I was woken up by my mother around 7:30am and at first I thought that some idiot crashed a plane into a building but my mother told me that the planes that crashed into a building had something to do with terrorism, then later I found out that the planes hit the Pentagon and at the time I didn't know what the Pentagon was, I later found out that there were gonna be planes that was gonna crash into the White House.

I remember that a few hours later I had to return a movie that I rented to a video store and later that evening I've had to work and it was pretty quiet, alot of people were speechless that evening, I remember when I was watching the evening local news I remember a woman who was hosting the weather news mentioned something that it was hard to talk about the weather cause of the tragedies

The appendix is called a 'vestigial organ' basically it's a left over bit that no longer serves any purpose, but evolution hasn't gotten around to getting rid of it yet.
When it was larger and fully developed in (when humans were more apeish than they are now) it allowed us to digest cellulose (in grass and leaves).
But now it serves no useful purpose (besides getting inflamed and rupturing, which incidentally would have killed you before modern medicine developed).
So why would god give you 'faulty equipment'?
