All of 'em but Veteran's Day & Memorial Day. As a Veteran, it is nice to be recognized on those 2 days. It was an awesome feelin to be walkin down the street somewhere in uniform and get a thank you or a hug or a handshake from a total stranger. Gives me goosebumps just thinkin about it. Not to mention I come from a military family.

Martin Luther King Day. We get time off at Christmas and New Year's then boom there's Martin Luther King Day a few weeks later. Then there's nothing with time off until Memorial Day. We should move Martin Luther King Day to March so there's a break in that long stretch.

Eh, they all have their redeeming qualities - time with family, time off work, an excuse to BBQ, or dress in funny costumes, or consume inordinate amounts of chocolate-dipped cherries. Even Guy Fawkes Day and Arbor Day could inspire someone to be a better person.

Valentine's Day. I think it is one of the the most commercially driven days. Although it's not a holiday, it puts so much pressure on esp. men to "show their love". I believe if you love someone then it should be shown every day and a woman should'nt need "proof" on that day.

Martin Luther King Day! What did he do for the nation? Former president Truman in his usual style said King was a "damned troublemaker". Being overly-concerned about one group and disregarding the rest causes endless problems and happens too often.
