We should make college more affordable with more assistance that way everybody can have a chance to attend it! I'm a high school drop out (got my GED) and I've traveled the rocky path of dead end jobs.. I made the choice to go to college because I found out the hard way that I would never see the money I wanted to see if I didn't get a degree.. But the thing it is it's so pricey, I don't know how I'm gonna pay it back. AFFORDABLE career/job training should be offered to people of all walks of life. The brotha should get some job training and get the job just like the white kid who went to a more expensive college.

Disagree.
Companies hire people who can do the job. Having a college degree doesn't automatically make you eligible for any high-paying job.
I earned a degree in English and wasn't able to find a job paying more than $8 an hour because there is no value nor employment in having a degree in English.
I have had to go back to school to earn a degree in Accounting to qualify me to get a higher paying job.
You are hired by companies because you can do the job. And you can do the job depending upon what type of education / training you have.

Yeah, but he needs extensive training to do that or he could screw up everything for who he works for. Poor people can go to college on a Pell Grant. Actually, the poorer you are the better chance you have at getting everything paid for. It sucks b/c you have to work a lot harder and support yourself, but you can do it. I am currently doing it right now and it's hard but it will be worth so much more because I worked for it.

would you feel safe living and working in a building, where the structure was designed by "the black kid who didn't go to college [instead was in] the Church's chicken role"
or maybe having your electrical power maintained by that individual? or your gasoline purified and refined by that individual?

You can put anyone in charge of FEMA. Make it a job lottery.
