Neither, both were interesting works of fiction.

I wouldn't say either one is satanic. Both are works of fiction, they are not real. The difference is the Da Vinci Code is trying to be a non-fiction book because it says at the beggining of the book that the stuff in it is real. Some of it may be, but the idea of it is fiction and doesn't add up when you do your research.
So I give neither of them any 666's.

I don't think either one fits the definition of "satanic".
I actually own all the Harry Potter books (except number 4, cause I didn't like the whole Quidditch World cup mess...booorring...)
I dislike the Davinci Code because it teaches concepts that seriously contradict my Biblical views.
Harry Potter is presented as fantasy. Most ppl who read it won't actually confuse it with something that really happened. But many ppl reading the Davinci Code will accept its assertations as hard facts.
That's why I believe the Davinci Code to be the most "heretical" of the two books, not necessarily the most "satanic".

And I think I answered this question intelligently enough that I don't have to rate the books in sixes...

Neither.

The only type of Christian who would be against those books are Fundimentalist Christians and they aren't even a real denomination. They're also known as the poltical group, The Christian Right.

Any time people censor an item, it's always for a political reason.

Both are works of fiction.

One is better written than the other. Having an author who has a clue as to reality is helpful, I'm sure.

What does Nero have to do with the rating system? ; )

This question (and a couple of the answers) is proof that stupidity isn't limited to any religion.

They are fiction. Like Jack and the Beanstalk and Snow White.
Get it? Stories to entertain. Nothing more.
