I disagree. Perhaps a "Personal Freedom Day" to be recognized by anyone that wants to celebrate religous freedoms, sexual freedoms, or even the freedom to wear white after Labor Day if I wanna. But not specific to abortion, it's a bit narrow-minded so would definitely not add to my days off from work, so what's the point?

This is like saying we should have National Child Abuse Day to celebrate child abuse, or National Slavery Day to celebrate slavery. The "right" to murder innocent children is celebrated only by irresponsible men and selfish women. If you doubt that abortion is murder, take a look at:

Abortion is one of those things we should allow because to make it illegal would just create a gruesome black market for it and wouldn't stop women from having them. But it's definitely not something we should celebrate. Instead we should have a national birth control day and start encouraging more women to prevent the problem before it gets that far. Not enough women realize how easy it is to take a pill every day.

Freedom from what?
Why would anyone want to celebrate the taking of a human life?

As a woman I do not agree that we should have the right to even make this a choice, unless there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that the mother or childs life is in danger. However that is just my personal feeling, as I also feel other people are entitled to theirs. Please accept this as an agreement to disagree with you respectfully.

abortion is wrong and should never be "celebrated"

I don't agree, but thanks for putting such a fine point on the importance of celebrating abortion to the liberal ideology.

I don't think so. It would be ultimately pointless, and would anger a lot of people.
