I think white is a summer color because it's fresh, clean and cool looking. I also think it depends on the region one lives in. Winter white is lovely and hugely fashionable.
I think most people just don't wear white shoes in fall and winter time.

It was maybe a sign of mourning the end of summer? That is how I would see it.
But, no one follows this anymore, or even understand what Labor Day is all about.

White used to be considered a summer colour.
I give you permission to wear white after Labour Day. I'll be doing the same. ; )

That is an old fashion rule. Times have change and we can wear just about anything we like now.

The reason for the rule was because white gets so dirty in rain, snow, slush etc. And no, it really doesn't apply anymore, especially here in sunny SO. CA.

through fact it rather is whilst fall is, and that's whilst your cloth wardrobe is meant to get uninteresting and depressing. although, after observing What to not placed on, it rather is in simple terms not actual anymore. it fairly is extra of a "do not placed on white cotton skirt or turn flops after exertions day" element.

Sorry, but those stupid rules went out the window years ago. No one pays any attention to that stuff except those who live on Nantucket. Big deal.
