I am just curious why athiests deny even the possibility of the spiritual yet are willing to consider the possiblity of there being 10 or 11 dimensions. Isn't that a bit hypocritical?

I have noticed that low class Americans can not effectively distinguish or establish a valuable priority order. I'm black, and I am predominately talking about ghettos (projects, subsidy, etc.) I consider myself a civil rights activist and am encouraged to speak to the masses about creating new, more positive outlets and reconstructing society. I am looking for an approach to uplift and alter the focus of thousands of people, either to help each other or help ourselves establish a stable direction. I want to be influential like Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X who clearly changed people! What is it that I don't understand about a revolutionary movement. Its not about the clothes and cars...its about ghetto mentality and that ritual needs to be broken ASAP for the sake of our future. We need to reconstruct

I run into so many religious people who have issues involving drugs, alcohol, fidelity, smoking, lying etc. yet they think they have the authority to preach to me and impose on me bible verses to better my world in the guise of wanting to love me as their neighbor.
If you can't and dont know how to love yourself enough to stop abusing yourself to what extent can you love your neighbor?

When I was growing up I was told 2 prime facets of Jesus life:
1. He was fully human and fully divine during his time on earth.
This meant his death paid for our sins.
2. He never once sinned, proving that a sinless life is possible, and
proving Satan wrong.

Here's my question. If Jesus was just a man (no angels, no star, no voice from above) in the exact same household, with the exact same upbringing (as far as scholastic and moral, not the "training to be messiah" part).... would he still have had a sinless life?

If you say yes; then isn't it possible that have there been others who have lived a completely sinless life (discounting original sin, if you believe in that).

If you say no; then aren't you saying that Jesus only had a sinless life because of his divine advantage? What does this prove for the rest of us about living free of sin?

If no, why do you believe what's written in an old book that says the same things? What if Fox News tomorrow said "God spoke from the heavens and commanded it to rain." and then they showed a clip of the sky and a booming voice saying "Let it rain." and all of a sudden you saw the sky get dark and it start to rain.... would this be simply them making this up or would it be real?

I must be going loopy-maybe it's because I am pregnant...I couldn't understand why I wouldn't run away. It was like a was meant to be loyal to my friends and stay and get involved but I knew it was wrong. Past life experience or dodgy hormones?

im 21 and i'm thinking about getting a real job, but then i get really scared like, why do i need all that extra money, my bills can easyily be paid with a retail job but my saving from my last job are gone and i am without work, i don't want to be a greedy person, i don't want to drive or own a car.

i don't want to change and be this evil money lead person, but it would be nice to not have to eat ramen all the time..
i'm so sick of retail it seems so wrong the bosses tell you to make people buy more stuff, (they don't need it)

should i go for this job and get a the money car and lots of meaningless posessions, or should i be poor and not have anything and live i a tent.... this world feels so greedy and wrong

People are of the belief that Jesus lived his whole life without sin. Are regular non-divine humans able to do this? Is it impossible for us? If so, why is it impossible? What would happen if we could live our whole life without sin?

I went out to eat with three friends. One of them is obese and another one of my friends who is suppose to have a high IQ, called all heavy people 'fat', right in front of her. I looked at my heavy friend and she looked bothered. Yes, I know she has issues with food, but isn't this a little insensitive?

If there is a heaven, everyone there doesn't have a care. Yay. If there isn't a heaven and you just cease to exist when you die. Everyone that dies doesn't have a care there either. So really, there is no difference.

Also from the perspective of thinking about someone close to you that has died, does it matter to you whether they are in heaven or just a body in the earth. Do you miss them less or more if they are in one place or another?
