According to many scholars in Islam, Organ donation (not selling) is legal. Although the body belongs to God, so does everything else like money. If we can donate from the money that God gave us, why not our body organs when you know they're very much needed.

I must admit that somewhere down the road some Muslim scholars have adopted the philosphy of Jehova Witnesses and started to think the body blongs to God and no parts of body should be shared but it is wrong.
It's OK to donate parts of your body to save someone else's life.
Yes, if by donating a part that can put your own life in danger is not allowed or if you want to sell it, that is not allowed.

Islam the youngest religion in world is clear about donation of human organs...... As body belongs to God so the human being has no right to donate its orgams .............

it is allowed , there are many transplant programs in all Muslim countries
in the Koran ,, the holy book for Muslims it states:
" he who saves a life , is like he saved all of mankind , and he who wastes a life is like he wasted all man kind '
also it is believed by Muslims that leaving something after your death , that helps people is like a continuous charity that you will be rewarded for.
but the real question to you is do you believe in religion?

I personally think that they are against that notion or something, since their beliefs are more into the 'what comes from earth returns to earth' sort of thing... On the contrary, though, here's what i found on one of the websites. Hope that helps...
