People pick on Christians because some can be narrow-minded and pushy. People, especially the narrow-minded and pushy Christians, pick on Muslims because it's politically correct to do so, and also they do it out of fear and ignorance. People still pick on Jews, the bigots, but not as much as they pick on Christians and Muslims.

As for other groups, the general public doesn't know enough about them to criticize. Funny, the general public doesn't know much about Islam, yet the Muslims have to take the most abuse, IMHO.

Scientology isn't barking, just Tom Cruise is.

I don't like all this persecution. In the words of the infamous Rodney King: "Can't we all just get along?"

You know what Judaism, Islam and Christianism all came from the religion of Abraham. For all I know Jews had been treted badly by a lot of people since hundreds of years ago. I dont know about Chrisitians. But I definitely know why people nowadays startto pick on Islam. It is because they know Islam is a true religion unlike Chrisistians and Judaism. These two religions are outdated. America and Israel especially afraid that the Muslims will conquer the world if they combine their force. Just look at the Arabs countries which mostly rich of oil. YOu know what, today OIL IS POWER!!!!!! Just think if the Arabs combine power, Israel will be a no mans land. In fact, look at USA itself, statistic shows Islam is the fastest growing religion there.

Jehovah's Witnesses often suffer from bigotry and persecution. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

I wouldn't say that Jews or Jehovahs witnesses get a particularly easy time of it.

It's not about poking fun at other religions, it's about realising that different people possess different rationales, therefore what seems logical and real to them doesn't necessarily to you and me.

As long as you aren't infringing upon the rights of others (which I know isn't always the case), you should be free to believe what you like.

It seems like that but Buddhists get more respect even though they aren't the most popular. They come off as humble meditators that mess with no one. Us Christians are told to help others and some of us go a lil bit too overboard with it.

And Jehovah's witnesses are annoying. Coming at your door all the time. I don't agree with their teachings which aren't completed or right.

erm... the religious group which has least tolerance for people poking fun at them? I think the equal winners are...Christians and Muslims. Maybe that's why people do it, you can't get a rise out of a Buddhist, it's no fun at all.

People pick on Chirstianity and Muslims because they are the largest and most accepted religious groups. By "religion bashing" people show their fear and ignorance of the thought of being judged after their death.

I think the reason people don't pick on the other religions is because they think they are just a bunch of nuts and not worth bothering with.

there's a great distinction between each and all the three. before everything God is made up of three persons, the father the Son and The Holy Spirit. All 3 jointly is God yet additionally one and all with the help of themselves is God. many human beings do no longer understand this. Now Christians worship God the father by His in basic terms Son Jesus Christ with help of the Holy Spirit. The Jews worship the comparable GOD yet do no longer yet realize that Jesus is the Son of God. (yet many are realising the certainty and extremely quickly they're going to understand Jesus is their Messiah). however the MUSLIM god isn't the comparable through fact the Christian and Jewish God. So there's a great distinction. in the close destiny while the Jews realize that Jesus is the Son of God then the Christians and the Jews will then understand the comparable actuality and that they're going to merge as one human beings (in faith). the clarification why many hate Jesus is via the fact devil hates Jesus and devil is the god (small g) of this international. devil controls the international contained in direction of the sins of the folk interior the international. through fact devil hates Jesus - the international additionally hates Jesus becasue all people who don't understand Jesus are controlled with the help of the devil. yet Jesus loves you. you may desire to repent of all your sins and be saved. All you may desire to do is say which incorporate your mouth and have confidence on your heart that Jesus is your Lord and private Saviour, and ask Him to come back into your spirit and you would be saved. Jesus Loves You.

The question is off the mark. As far as I can see the attention is about equal across the board and for mostly the same reasons. Of course, whatever you are will tend to make thouse taunts stick in your mind and seem to be too often for fairness.
