Well perhaps it is just simply the nature of human beings to explore, whether that exploration be an expedition to the north pole or climbing mount Everest or the exploration of ones fantasies and sexual desires. I think that it is just natural curiosity that makes people want to try new things and discover new ways of doing old things and perhaps this is the reason that human beings have been so successful in over coming all the odds and conquering new and unexplored ground

I suppose it depends what you mean by deviations. Doing it standing up or with the lights on would be considered a deviation by some people. So, deviation is in the eye of the beholder (deviator?). People do what gratifies them. To them, these activities are not deviations anyway. If it gives pleasure to both parties, how can it be wrong? Some "deviations" are also decided on by the law-givers. Bestiality for example - sex with animals. Most societies consider this to be deviant behavious, however, there's nothing inherently wrong with it (so long as cruelty is not involved) - it's just a social issue.
Incest is also mostly a social issue these days. In some countries marriage to a first cousin is forbidden as incest whilst in other countries, it's perfectly legal and normal. So social prejudice is the real issue there.
Finally, the answer has to be, if you and your partner like it, then do it. If one or the other does NOT like it, then refrain. Beyond that, it's up to you.

It's possibly due to a high sex drive causing the person to need more and varied stimulation as one exciting new aspect becomes
mundane or boring they move on and try something new, As long as the participants in any deviant behaviour are consenting adults and nobody gets injured either physically or mentally it's OK by me. But it begs the question what is normal and what is deviant? (I know I asked a question Sorry)Much of today's sexual behaviour, was not so long ago considered deviant such as homosexuality and lesbianism both of which seem to be classed as normal behaviour in today's thinking but this is open to individual interpretation I personally consider it deviant but it does not bother me good luck to them if that is what they enjoy.

With certain types of people anything becomes boring given time. So they go further and further in efforts to find novelty. There is a strong connection between sex and the forbidden; others find the wrongness of something a turn on. In both cases it can be like a runaway train - gaining speed with no signs of stopping.

Well, it all depends on what you call deviation. I mean, a lot of people (male and female) like to do some exhibitionism - show themselves to their partner, and like the feeling of the other person's looking over their body.
But public exhibitionism is a psychic disorder.
So it's all in the degrees.
Anyway - the causes can be various - interest, boredom with the standard (and what is standard anyway? Anal sex is standard, as far as I know, in Turkey... but not in other countries), slight or more intense disorders, impulse, desire to please... some of those deviations can be really enjoyable on both sides, actually.

This is the old one mans food is another mans poison almost.
Just because X considers something deviant, does not really mean it is, it usually means it is not normal where they live.
Some countries the age of sexual consent is as low as 12, yet in the UK this is horrifying.
Some would consider showing anything above the knee deviant.

In my opinion, the simple fact that they are considered "wrong" and "naughty" makes them more appealing. Going against the norm is a common ideal. A desire to experiment and perhaps "spice up" one's sex life is also a factor. Yet another reason could be that they have witnessed an act that aroused their desire, resulting in the wish to further explore the feeling they felt when seeing it.

Why does it happen?
Coz over time the ordinary/normal just doesn't work 4 them anymore.
They start a decent in 2 the Abnormal that knows no bounds, endangers them & others around them.
It's all V sad.
I hear of men who R so addicted 2 Porn they cannot climax without the aid of more degrading/desperate porn.
I think it's all wrong, but I suppose like most as long as it doesn't affect me & nobody gets hurt.
Leave 'em 2 it.

some people just like different thngs in life, some like to experiment and try new things, just think if everyoine in the whole world was the same how boring it would be, and if everyone in the country drove a pink car we would have a pink carnation.
