When I was growing up I was told 2 prime facets of Jesus life:
1. He was fully human and fully divine during his time on earth.
This meant his death paid for our sins.
2. He never once sinned, proving that a sinless life is possible, and
proving Satan wrong.

Here's my question. If Jesus was just a man (no angels, no star, no voice from above) in the exact same household, with the exact same upbringing (as far as scholastic and moral, not the "training to be messiah" part).... would he still have had a sinless life?

If you say yes; then isn't it possible that have there been others who have lived a completely sinless life (discounting original sin, if you believe in that).

If you say no; then aren't you saying that Jesus only had a sinless life because of his divine advantage? What does this prove for the rest of us about living free of sin?

Wow, was my former religion the only one that teaches that Jesus' sinless life proved Satan wrong? (Satan's point being that God's law is too harsh to follow, and it is unfair to expect created beings to keep true to it).

It's easy for fictional characters not to sin. If it's too good to be true you can bet your @ss it's fake.

It's a noble question you ask here, but there's a simple answer: Jesus was both God and man.
That means that he could do all of the things that men do without ever sinning, even though he was tempted to by the devil.
No human(except Mary) can ever live a completely sinless life, since we are all born with original sin, as you note.
Yes, Jesus didn't sin only because he was divine, but he didn't come to Earth to tell us that, because it's common sense.
He came to Earth to tell us and show us the best possible way to live a sin-free life, even though we will still sin from time to time no matter how hard we try.

Jesus is the Son of God. He became Man and never sinned. Yes, He was Tempted by Satan but Jesus overcame him.
Yes Jesus was living a sinless life and doing miricles on earth.
Why do you think the Pharisees wanted to find fault with Him? Because Christ never did anything wrong.
No there were no others who lived a sinless life. Everyone sinned. And it all started back in the book of Genesis. Read all about Adam and Eve. They were supposed to have been sinless until Eve was tempted by Satan and she fell for it.
Jesus IS God and He came to earth as a little baby through Mary, which the angel Gabriel told about. Most of the accounts for Christ are throughout the Bible. Read it for yourself.
You can't live free from sin until we are in Heaven with God.

All fall short of God's glory, if it were possible for people to live a sinless life Jesus would not have had to come and save us.

Jesus, did live a sinless life because He is divine. He was physically but divine spiritually that is why He was sinless.

i don't know know much of Jesus but what i can tell you is that we all consider a sin to be very different things some say a little white lie some say it a sin while others says no..
i do believe that since Jesus was the son of god he was different but then again we think that we are also the children of god. why aren't we like Jesus so selfless that he died for our sins.
ON there other hand how do we know that Jesus didn't sin because we read a book that says so. how do we know that certain fact were emitted from that book. Or do we simply want to believe that he had to be perfect to keep our faith.
they are followers of the christian faith who sin every day such a s those pastors ,priest. all you hear is that some priest rape a minor. if he had strong faith and believe in Jesus he wouldn't have succumb to temptation
I think all of us has sin in one way or the other as much as we try to pretend to be perfect.
we are mare man Jesus wasn't just a man in my opinion.

Jesus is God. Perfect, without blemish.
We are not. Hence grace and forgiveness.
We are to give our best effort to lives as He lived. That's the best we can do.
As for Christ breaking the Jewish law, that's a total misunderstanding and misrepresentation of His actions. Do you think dealing with the Pharisees was an easy thing to do? They were living against God's will and teaching others to do the same. Did Jesus ever once say anything that was not meant to show the Pharisees the truth about what they complained about? And He did it so well.

Well, unfortunately you were taught something very wrong. A sinless life is not possible- it's totally impossible! He wasn't just a man, angels were very much involved, and also voices from above :) ... (God's ) He doesn;t ask us to be sinless, He simply asks us to believe on Him, Love Him with your whole heart mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. Being we are sinful humans all our sin was placed upon Him when He died on the cross- this was the only way that we could have a possibility to spend forever with Him.

I still don't understand the concept of a punishing God who needs to punish someone like Jesus for what other people committed, and still reserve a "hell" for those who are brought into a world with many paths, yet chose the "wrong" one, because of where they were born or what they were brought up to believe. The way to the Divine for me is finding one's own path through the journey of life with an open mind and based on their own experience and love for the Creator.

This is a hypothetical question though, but I can still answer it,and my answer is "Yes" ! because it was not his household or upbringing that made him to be God.. It was God !
And if God didnt do it that way, then he would have done it another way.. But it still would be about Jesus being perfect and sinless !

Jesus is God. And God is Jesus. Jesus is the face of God in mortal form basically. Jesus can not sin because he is God. And that comment about how according to jewish law, Jesus did sin. No, he didn't. Because he came down from heaven and rewrote it, just as God planned it. The Jews were God's chosen people. Once Jesus came down, they no longer became God's chosen people. Salvation is no longer just limited to the jews. Jesus made it so that all the people of the world can be saved.

I don't know why He didn't sin. To this day I curse Him daily for it.
Who the Hell did he think He was? Didn't He realize He wasn't doing us any favor? If the Son of God Himself sinned, He would have been our best friend, full of sinful urges and weaknesses just like the rest of us. But the little ******* had to Lord Himself over us like some kind of God, forever putting us to shame.
