There is physical chastity and there is spiritual chastity. Physical chastity is virginity, that is never having had sexual intercourse OF ANY SORT to include oral sex. Spiritual chastity is virginity awarded an unchaste person by God after a person has been born again. After being born again the sin of fornication is washed away by the blood of Jesus and a person become pure once more in the blood of Jesus. This virginity should only be lost under the covering of marriage, or the sin of fornication rears its ugly head again. Jesus love you.

It is a very good thing. People should spend more time becoming emotionally involved instead of just jumping into bed. I was chaste until my wedding night and I was a better person for it. I never had pregnancy scare, never had an STD, and I never had to worry about getting an STD.

I interpret it as NOT having sex until marriage, but I also see it as being what people in our society would call "prude". I think of being chaste as not only waiting to have sex, but other physical intimate activities with a partner such as kissing.
