My pastor gets all the chicks, and even though hes a jock, I must assume its because he is at such a high spritual level...thats what all the chruch woman tell me anyway.

So, can someone tell me how I can get to a higher level...is this like dungeons and dragons where I just need experience points to raise up to a 5th level magic user?

When I was a fundie, I heard preachers say many times "marry someone whose on a higher spirtual level than you". The woman sheep thought that was so profound but that always made me mad cause that set a higher standard of phoneyness and I was having a hard time descending to the current standard.

I still had sex with the sheeples...but it did make life tough there cause these poor she-sheeples couldnt figure out what this higher spirt level was, so they just created an image of a non-existant super-man and lambasted all those who feel short....which was always the people who didnt speak enough christianspeak

My last three relationship with girls it always ended up with her telling me she loves me heaps, but only in a friend way. it has been upsetting for me, as i feel that i am often used by women - that they get what they want from me and then they dont want it anymore. what should i do? im becoming so jaded.

it is fascinating to see how Christians disagree about what is, and is not, "Christianity". Some say the laws of the OT are thrown out by the NT, while others swear the whole book is the literal word of God and that every law applies. Some say the bible is metaphor. Some say the literal truth.

And each christian is very free with claims about other christians -not- being "christian". One respondent to an earlier question claimed Catholics and Christians need to be seen as distinct.

So which of you are "real" Christians and how do you define those who are "fake" Christians ('cause sometimes you all look alike to me ;-) ?

1. How can you persuade a person who doesnt believe in the bible only with the bible?

2. Can you really think of eternity, i mean in heaven wouldnt you eventually get tired of praising at some point and if not then the only reason to go to heaven is just to escape hell right?

3. Why would Jesus rapture the church and leave then come back just to put the reamining people in hell after they've gone through terrible tribulation?

4. How can God be so good if he punishes nearly all humanity just for not believing his son?

The bible says just as no one knows where the wind comes from so to when you are reborn...this is for you...if you are tired and you fell you have no more strength...this is for you...if you hit rock bottom from drugs and alchol...this is for you...if all you want to do is end your life...this is for you....if you do not like they way you are...this is for you...if you feel you are worth nothing...this is for you....if you lie, steal, cheat, kill...this is for you..if you pray this prayer and belive that Jesus will save you not the prayer... He promises that if you were to die today you will go to Heaven. It is free..the only thing in return He asks is for your heart....most importantly you will be saved......Pray this out loud...belive with your heart..Jesus i admit that I miss the mark (Sin) I believe that you died on the cross for me....I belive that you arose on the third day and are in Heaven come into my heart and be my only Lord recieve me into your family.in Jesus name Amen.

When I hung around the mega-church, I tried to. In my singing and prayer, but it never felt sincere or real like the love I have for real people whom I have real relationships with.

I mean, I know, you say you love him, but what Im doin is getting real witch ya. Honestly, do you feel real love? Its a lot of effort to imagine love for something you cant know.

You say the spirit fills you and then you know him...know him how..by some spasm of endorphines? Seriously now, I was a part of all that so talk real with me, dont spit me back some fundie cliches "you must open your heart"...say that to my face...say to my face I didnt sincerely try...cause that what it always comes down to right..."he didnt REALLY open his heart" .

God speaks to some differently...thats the next one right? Well, thats some hell of an advantage they got, cause if I heard him loud and clear like Moses on the mountain, everything else is super easy for there....

how many have been murdered un knowingly i fertalized egg if not inplanted in time to stop a womans period it is flushed out of the body is this not murder and why not what about my mom she had a miss carrage did her body murder

and here is a preemptive strike for all those how are about to say because it is not consously done it is not murder. i am sleep walking i get in to my car and run someone over is that murder
(fact a man actualy slept climbed his way halfway up a clif)

not liberals, that's for sure. They think they're going to stand in his holy place, and they believe so strongly that they are pure in heart, and that God is pleased with them. They always swear by everything that's false and they worship false idols every moment they breathe.

So who's going to climb the hill of the Lord? Umm, I'd say that only he who has clean hands and a pure heart will. He certainly does NOT lift up his sould to an idol, or swear by anything that's false.

whan Revarand Foxwells Smith--baptised us with Holy Sptirits

One could argue that Adam and Eve were created perfect but their sin doomed us to imperfection. However, if they were truly perfect beings, wouldn't they be incapable of commiting sin in the first place?
