no, but oddly enough, hospital emergency room (and x-ray) smells tend to 'take me back' to my childhood.

Surprisingly, yes. I grew up in a real fleabag apartment and the superintendent (wily ol' nutjob) used to scrub the lobby with Dettol. Okay, maybe homesick isn't the right term here. Nightmarish flashback, I think, is better suited.
