My pastor gets all the chicks, and even though hes a jock, I must assume its because he is at such a high spritual level...thats what all the chruch woman tell me anyway.
So, can someone tell me how I can get to a higher level...is this like dungeons and dragons where I just need experience points to raise up to a 5th level magic user?
When I was a fundie, I heard preachers say many times "marry someone whose on a higher spirtual level than you". The woman sheep thought that was so profound but that always made me mad cause that set a higher standard of phoneyness and I was having a hard time descending to the current standard.
I still had sex with the sheeples...but it did make life tough there cause these poor she-sheeples couldnt figure out what this higher spirt level was, so they just created an image of a non-existant super-man and lambasted all those who feel short....which was always the people who didnt speak enough christianspeak

Often times Ive noticed that if a pastor or someone of that nature is good looking, the women of the church say "he is SO anointed!" I think it's Christian-ese for "Damn he's HOT" ya know?

there no levels of spirituality. The only thing that changes is your awareness of the connenction you share with God. Anyone who tells you that there is a scale for spirituality is deceiving you. This is not about points, women, pastors or or anything. Spirituality is a life style that liberates you from the impression that you have to do things that people do or allow yourself to be described by what others think of you or of what you have. You are not what you have. You are not what they say you are. You do not need the things they say you need. Change your perception of things to a spiritual perspective and see things fall into place almost like magic.

It's not a contest It's all about a spiritual relationship with the Father.Everyone is going to be at a different level in thier relationship with the Father.Pastors are held more accountable than the sheep.I hope that the ideas your expressing were somehow misinterpreted because they could be very damaging to yourself and the body of believers your associating with. That makes me want to vomit.....I know of a huge Baptist Church in the area where the singles pastor was doing all the ladies. One would come in the back door, while one was leaving out the front door. None of the women knew that they weren't the only one.
Christ said that there is nothing that is hid that shall not be revealed.

LOL.. you are funny. Funny little fundie.
You got it all wrong.
I am having a hard time finding were it says, "thou shalt marry someone on a higher spiritual level than thou."
Think about the contradiction! Wouldn't that mean you would be cheating your wife out of marrying someone on a higher spiritual level! For that matter... what the he!! does a higher spiritual level mean!
Sorry Jesus, but I have to say JESUS!! you are falling for a GIANT load of bull $hit!

Matt 12:36-37 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. KJV
Now that you know, you're responsible.
I'll be there when you stand before the King, let's see what you do between now and then.

This Pastor... does not sound like a pastor at all.
This Church... does not sound like a church at all.
Question: What would Jesus say to all of this?

since when is preaching about god equivalent to getting all the chicks?? personally, he gets the chicks because he probably has money (from the offerings of course). why wouldyou want to compete with your pastor? your intention, i think is pure but all so wrong.
maybe you should just choose another church

You need to leave religion alone and just live your life without it. Don't be a damn hypocrite.
